I liked that Backdraft used a bunch of cogs in his build instead of multiple Creative power sources, so he gets my vote! loved the sprawling movement of polartt's tho!
"maglev conveyor belts" need to be a thing in 2022. They're obviously terrible for server performance given the general lack of restraint shown by players, but how cool would it be to see full belts of floating items travelling along careful paths as fans pushed them around?
Not to be that guy but since you crushed the ore, you should wash it instead of smelting it! You would get more stuff, just needs to be compacted after that
Both has cool stuffs, like Backdraft has scenematic and mining block, you has polartt using motors and launching items with belt which kinda impossbile for me
Why didn't you made it using bulk washing and then compacting nuggets with metal press and basin. That could of looked even beter. Anyways i am voting polartts style
Loved the video @polartt! Can't wait for the next video man! I think you're machine looked pretty neat and seemed to be the most functional, but I did like the Cannon that B4ckdraft used on his though. New sub as well! I have an Interesting Idea for you and Minecraft Community Content Creators like @Shalz, @RagePlaysGames and @darkMode should you guys wish to try this out together with some Friends. The Background is that the Pillagers have been running Rampant across the world of Minecraft and have just Launched a Series of Raids on the Village of Mooscow, Stealing all the Food, all the Crops and Animals and even Draining the Local Smithing Guild's Supply of Lava that they use to power their Furnaces and Blast Furnaces. A Convoy of 6 Standard/Cargo and 4 Tanker Configuration Liberty Ships Carrying Food, Supplies and Lava has been Arranged to make the Trip to the Port of Moourmansk roughly 232,087 Blocks North-Northwest of Mooscow while a pair of Victory Ships head over with Men and Material for the Defence of Mooscow from the next Village Raid. Once the Convoy Ships make it to port, they'll unload the Supplies to be Transported by Dodge 2 ½-ton CCKW-353 "Deuce and a Half" Trucks in both Standard and Semi-Tractor Trailer Versions and Studebaker 2 ½-ton US6 in the 6×6 U4 Long Wheelbase with winch Cargo, 6×4 U8 Long Wheelbase with winch and U6 Short Wheelbase Semi-Tractor Trailer Versions. I left the Specs for the Liberty Ships and Victory Ships in the Comments section below Shalz's video, either "Building an entire base on a Create mod Train" or "Building a Tank with Create mod". I will, however, be sending the Specs for the Vehicles Listed in darkMode's "Self-powered Miner" video Comments section over to him so be on the lookout for that as well. For the Colors of the Convoy Ships, you'll have the Following Colors for your Block Palette; Bear in mind that these will be for What's known as "Standard Measure 21" and "Standard Measure 22" in the U.S. Navy. • Waterline can be Black Concrete, Black Terracotta or Blackstone. • Varying Shades of Blue using Blue Concrete and Blue and Light Blue Terracotta. • Varying Shades of Grey using Light and Dark Grey Concrete and Light and Dark Grey Terracotta. • The Draft/Draught or Part of the Ships Hull under the Water will have Either Nether or Red Nether Bricks and Slabs for the Shaping of the Hull with Red Terracotta. Sorry for this being a long read man! I spent about an hour typing this up! Hope to see what you guys come up with and I'll catch you in your next video man!
create explains itself, you can ponder the item which will show you most common use cases (in-game). also the mod pack has a pretty good sense of direction from it's quests. you don't have follow the quests perfectly, as they are more or less a guide. be aware that most recipes are changed in that mod pack, which is again why the quest book explains what to do and what you need to progress.
BOTH are wonderful but i like polartt's better and i see the uniqueness of each but yours won in my mind for the blend of concept and semi functionality (although i would for go the rotational machine after the crushing and have it land in the smelting portion) would love to see you both work on a team version of this with a larger time limit (or almost limitless but that can be decided between the two of you when you are satisfied with the size)
I would have used a fan to blow the crushed ore after it was flung to the edge of the three block space to make sure it was properly positioned. Otherwise, great video!
