Is this a cooking show an infomercial for numerous products? Trash food and non-stop ads. How much McDonalds pay you to promote their sh*t food? ....random selling of products in the middle of the show? WTF.... Don't you have a real job?
Sam, I don’t normally bother commenting on RU-vid videos, but I want to express my appreciation for this channel. Thanks to you guys I have fallen in love with cooking, and reference your videos daily. I would love an episode where you guys rank and remake your top 3 favorite dishes you’ve ever done on this channel since the beginning. Have a Max’s top 3 episode, Chancey’s top 3, and last but not least, a Sam’s top 3. Thanks again fellas, and keep up the good work! Cheers.
YES! Sam never disappoints, if there’s an opportunity to burn himself and unload a few swear words, you know he’s coming in hot with the perfect string of obscenities. Well done again fellas.
*Dialing the cardiologist office Me: Hey Doc, I'm thinking I might need to up my lisinopril...what are your thoughts?? Doc: You still watching STCG? You need to get some help for this addiction!! Lol💟
This channel is just a collection of Sam burning himself, making up words for units of measurement, and begging for Max and Chance's vocal approval of what he says. And I love it.
The “Land, Air and Sea” I assume is the family friendly version because for over 20 years, at least where I come from in Canada, we always called it the “McGangbang”.
My buddy told me about a hack where they take a Mcdouble and pull it apart where each bun has a single patty with it, then you place a McChicken on the bottom bun and put the top bun and patty back on. It was known at the local McDonald's in Oak Grove, Missouri as the "McGang-bang". Then when McDonald's brought out the bacon Mcdouble the name was changed to Ol' McDonald's farm because of having beef, chicken and pork with the addition of the bacon.
Yes! My boys (all in their late 20's now) have been ordering McGangBangs for years, we are in Nova Scotia Canada. They dont put it on the menu but you can go into ANY McD's and they know what it is.
The McGangBang is a certified classic, as a teen I thought it was the funniest thing to say in the drive through but now I just do it for the enjoyment
It's cool to see that something I assumed was exclusive to one McDonald's in the midwest is actually widely known. Do me a favor if this is a thing where you live, do like the others have done and let me know where you're at/ from.
Anybody else notice that he never toasted any buns, except for two. He had two toasted buns for the land, air and sea burger. But the bottom bun wasn't.🤣
Ive been doing the breakfast one for about 3 years here in the Philippines because their big breakfast has all of the ingredents for it. Make it better by adding the jelly or jam.
Sam: You are one of the very best. Please start making food we can make for our families for nightly dinners. Keep up the good work. Steve and Jayne Fox Point, Wisconsin
I’ve been making a hash brown McMuffin for 30+ years. I don’t understand why they haven’t put it on the menu before. You are missing strawberry preserves!!! It’s too dry without it… Sam needs to make it that way!!! It won’t disappoint!!!
And yet! He made it fit! Interesting and the parts look good, especially the Cod! Now for another idea, have you been to Korea? A dinner there is full of little plates with all sorts of condiments, the meat is pork belly or beef and the serving is on a lettuce leaf where you combine any of the side dishes and eat the bite. Check it out! You can even joke about kogogi if your dog keeps barking! Such a fun show!
I think most tempting is to make the fish! Not for a sandwich but to just eat on its own. The only one of those sandwiches I would consider making is the sausage egg cheese hashbrown
When I was in high school, in the 90s 🙄 We figured out that we could get McDonald's to put bacon and cheese on a McChicken. It made a simple sandwich spectacular.
In the Mid 80's, one of the Secret menu items at that time for an employee was!?!? Hot Apple Pie ( then still Deep fried) and Ice Cream!! 30 yrs later and Never on the Menu?!!!
Sam missed the Mac Sauce. It takes a little yellow mustard to get the classic color and taste. Mayo, Ketchup, Mustard, and Pickle Relish is so damn close that you can't tell the difference. Technically the snobs think it should be called Mac Aioli, but I'm not one of them.
Giving you a like even before the video--that's how confident in you guys I am!!!!! Question--have you ever made loaded sopapillas before? And made the dough for the sopapilla as well. I would love to see that!!!! I can't get the mix in the Carolinas so I wanna learn to make the sopapilla.
I grate my potatoes on a cutting board. Then put them in water with fruit fresh in it. The fruit fresh turns the potatoes snow white. Fruit fresh is pure vitamin C.
Just to help you out Sam, from someone who used to work there. The eggs are poached and the coating on the fish has cornmeal in it. The filet of fish bun is a regular hamburger bun that's been steamed and I'm pretty sure there's mustard too in the Big Mac sauce.
they had the big roasti which was essentially a quarter pounder with a hash brown and an onion bun with bacon. had it in germany and they brought it to canada for a short while and i loved every minute of it. hope they bring it back. I remake it on mcdonalds orders every one in a while but it is not the same without the onion bun.
I can't believe I remember this, but bun parts have names,. well at least at McD's they did (worked there 41 years ago). Bottom = Heel, Top = Crown, and on a Big Mac the middle is called the Club.
Ikr? I only go to Mickey D's for the sausage/egg McMuffin but that last burger...the Air, Land & Sea?...has my attention. Yet something tells me when I go to the counter and order an Air, Land & Sea I'm gonna get the strangest look from the wonderful worker there. Maybe even a WTF? Lol.
very finely diced onion makes a difference, i started doing that to my burgers love it. note how fine the onion is chopped next time you go to mcdonalds
Ever since McDonald's offered Certain Breakfast items All day! I go buy once in awhile and get the Sausage McMufffin with Egg and Cheese. Combine it with the Double Cheeseburger! One day in the muffin. Next on the bun! Secret menu? I worked at a McDonald's in late 80's! ! Staff came up with everything. Not to mention what employees brought in to cook!? Amazing how one can take a Frozen Tv dinner and cook it successfully in a Fast Food Restaurant! Excellent job of showing how basic this is! Always Love YOUR twists on the ingredients! Sounds so better then the menu
Ever make the McGangster? Order a McDouble and Spicy Chicken sandwich plain. Take the spicy chicken out and insert in into the McDouble and you got a McGangster.
I have always liked to order two McDoubles, toss one set of the buns and have 4 patties with two slices of cheese and lots of pickles or two of the spicy chicken sandwiches, again, toss one set of buns and have two spicy chicken patties, two servings of lettuce and sauce. But this surf and turf looks oddly satisfying. I will have to try it.
I remember there was a pizza joint in Sweden that made a hack where they took a Calzone pizza with all the normal filling of tomato sauce, cheese and ham, then they added a burger with fries inside and baked everything just like a normal pizza.
love your recipes... My son and I love creating things you make (and sometimes) changing them up to make them our own. Keep it up. He always tells me to take a pic and share with you!!!!!!!!
I've actually never done a secret menu deal. I also haven't had McDonald's in 3 years, the reason being? you'll like this because I cook almost every single meal for myself. I'm eating right now, it's way better than I remember McDonald's ever tasting.
Mac Sauce...Mayo, Paprika, Garlic and Onion powder, green relish, yellow mustard, and I think that's it...made it many times, it's super close and have added hot sauce too.
I never comment on your videos, but damn! I will be checking my cholesterol and sugar levels, and I will be trying this menu as soon as I can! Love this channel
Sam you always make all fast food look better when you make it fresh at home! I don't really eat fast food ever and that's because I can make it better at home! My way!! and no one can fuck up my order!! Love you !!!
Basically at McDonalds if they have the ingredients they will make whatever you want, but you may have to pay for adding stuff etc, there is no "secret menu" you just need to know what to ask for! (I was a MCD's manager for some years after Uni, great place to work btw).
Using actual cod for your fish choice has you instantly beating McDonalds. Don't get me wrong McDonald's using pollack or whitefish is fine but Cod or Flounder is even better. Great video and I soooooooo want a McSam Double Filet-O-Fish and a Hashbrown right now !
