It was interesting to see the process of scouting for photo opportunities during an overcast day with limited lighting. Events like this seem like a fun way to practice and find inspiration on not-so-ideal photography days too.

Great video Steve as always. I would love to join you & the others on one of these trips, sadly I am well into my 70's & due to a medical episode in 2017 my physical ability took quite a massive down turn. At present I have to stay close to car parks etc & not very good at long walks.....I still enjoy my photography & love watching your videos with the team. I believe I do know one of the group, Steve Baker, I sure we met down on the south coast (Portsmouth/Southsea) in a workshop with a local photographer ( Andy Hornby)....You all stay safe & I look forward to watching more videos.....

I thoroughly enjoyed your honest video about a landscape's photographer's more typical day: grey skies without directional light. Enjoying the photography and finding subjects nevertheless is key to this hobby. Seems like a nice bunch of like-minded guys. Unfortunately the way from Germany might be a little over-ambitious.

Hi There Steve !!!! Well.... I Really Don't Understand Why You Always Take Ages to Get/Frame a Shot. Sorry, But I Don't Think You Are Any Good on That. The Photo at 11:23 is Really Poor. You Are Not a Good Photographer, But The Best Thing About You is That You Keep Going and Posting Videos. Sorry Man.

Bizarre statement? It’s called professional getting the photo exactly as he wants it. We don’t all use the hammer technique on everything we approach. You have a great day
