Look for an artist called Tanto Wavie, he combines these 2 in a way that makes it seem like an already existing genre, an actual amalgamation of the sounds’ main characteristics without having to use a transition to move from one genre to the next.

A sick idea could be you making amapiano beats as you said, but then send your amapiano beat to other producers to see how they flip it whilst you attempt flipping your beat too and just see how they all sound at end.
