Such a cute little town 🥰. I’m from South Africa. I visited Lithuania in 2018 with my mom. There was a conference I was speaking at in Kaunas. We also visited Old Town Vilnius. The people are friendly and the AirBnB we stayed at in the Old Town was beautiful and so reasonable in price. I would love to visit again- or work ☺️.

Didnt know Simas is from Panevezys, and his grandmother lives in the same area like my grandmother :D Simas as unimpressed as me when im visiting Panevezys, but yeah at least town center is getting better. And You guys should visit Seklycia Prie Uosio next time you in Panevezys.

Nice video guys! Just one small note, please be kind and leave the American obsession about people’s colors outside the border. In Lithuania no one cares if a person is black (of course it’s fine to appreciate the neighbor:)) or pink, green, rainbow or whatever - everyone treats each other how they want to be treated, and how they behave. And that’s it. Don’t bring American obsession, there’s no value in it. One love ❤

Avri- Thanks for watching Our crowd, who are mostly Black people in America, will never know this about Lithuania if we don't share it with them. Some of them have never heard of Lithuania before watching us. It might not add value for you, but for us blacks, it is comforting to know that we us are accepted in other countries where the population doesn't really look like us and that's just our reality.

@@AvriSimas understand you, your point of view and your target? viewership. Still from a European point of view, it’s such an American thing to focus on race and color - and no of course there’s nothing wrong at rejoicing at seeing a familiar face in a crowd - but it brings similar vibes of your story of how Americans would address you in one way, before they knew that you were from Jamaica, at which point they’d change their tune. I don’t think people are like that in Europe. Just see people for who they are, not as objects of diversity. But your point of view is understandable, it’s your early days in Europe, with time you’ll notice the cultural difference:) Wait for the summer, it’s beautiful in Europe:)

If for example we had a sizable minority that suddenly started to advocate, demand and change things for itself irrespectable what the majority of the natives want, then you would see things differently, like attitudes changed in Western Europe.
