If you do get it don't worry about mowing for the most part just crop lease it and you will get paid for people cutting it for hay bails. Thats what I do with my farm.
That property is nice, but you already have the mountain property. What you boys need to do is sell a few builds, and build a storage warehouse up on the mountain for some old builds that you want to keep. That will free up a bunch of space in the shop and on the lifts to keep the shop nice and open.
Keep the current shop and build a new storage garage on one of your properties. Then move the cars (you want to keep) there. This gives you the room you need at the shop. It would be a waste that you built the shop with a new paint booth and it goes to the new owners. Now you have start again building up the shop just the way you wanted to be. Stay where you are!
1. Need to be near gas station, since none of the cars ever have gas 2. Needs to be near variety of fast food restaurants, for when the kitchen staff isn't cooking 3. Two words: HOME DEPOT! 4. Nearby O'Reilly's for paint and batteries.
1. If they are "rich" build their own gas area. 2. eating "well" having meals ready rather than that, anything than that. 3. sadly getting used to large conglomerates is why we have no "mom/pop" shops anymore and these "large" places conform to idiosyncratic like 6ft distances and putting tissues over their breathing holes. 4. no solutions for 4. ... going solar, charging and making/mixing their own "paints" creating a new thing for them on their plate to learn?, maybe pops can look into how to do it while he is on down time.
For the amount of builds you guys have, you could for sure move out to a bigger building as the one WatchJRGo had. Preferable already built to avoid lagging with build permits.
@@johnsnow1355 don't know if they allow to work on cars. Store them they probably allow, but use it a repair garage could be an issue to the management.
@@Shaggy050 the costs of project, permits, besides the waiting time, aren't no joke. They could buy some big garage as the one Car Wizard has, then totally remodel it.
Go for it! Y'all should move to a bigger facility that's already built like a previous comment said. I think it'll seriously benefit y'all and that channel! Also maybe having a few helpers around the shop? Maybe some more family? Or maybe subscribers!
crazy to think that just a few years ago, you guys were making builds work in the tiny garage at your parents place and fast forward to today where you guys are shopping for huge property. Congrats!
I don't know if I'm speaking for many, but I don't mind if the videos are in a specific order. I just look forward to seeing what you guys are up to. Keep up the good work.
It would be a dream place.. you both bring up a lot of good questions about want you sr3 allowed to do and so on. Keep us updated love to see you exploring new venues.
Incredible ! The property is a great opportunity to grow the garage and put all your ideas to life. Also it could bring up many new activities for you as horsing, golfing, fishing, etc.
I think its time to expand, but take your time and make sure you get a good deal and exactly what you two are looking for! No rush.. you guys have a wonderful shop as of now.
I couldn’t imagine living in the peaceful, tranquil countryside and then having someone move in next door and put in a racetrack with loud cars shattering my eardrums with noise. You might want to consider a more remote location, or complaints will come regardless of lack of restrictions. Other than that, expanding your facilities is probably the next step in your evolution.
Depends far enough out and they build... no big deal. Anyone that builds by them, YOUR problem. You knew what was there. If they move to an area with people I can understand people saying no. They move to nowhere and then people build and then complain... get fucked. Your dumbass moved in knowing what was there.
Personally, if I were them, I'd keep the current shop for a few more years, just build a storage garage on the compound like they've mentioned earlier. That way, they could move most of the builds up there after they've completed them. It would free up so much space the the current shop and be much cheaper...
(I'm from holland and not that good at english) But i think it's also a youtube thing. A move will mean lots of more and different content. Building another shop, remodel the barn.. building a track or 3 and like they said a pond... It's all about the content (My guess) And also investment of money..
That property is perfect! Never be scared to let go of what you’ve had and capture something new and improved. At this point you guys can’t take any steps back, your channel is doing good and the builds are just getting better and better! Go for it!
If the price is right buy it, can't go wrong investing in property these days, you two are young and the sky's the limit. I get so excited watching you all grow and succeed, I'm lifting a cold one up in your direction ever time you all move up or expand.
The moment you started to cut the grass to start pouring the concrete slab for your current shop you already out grew it and the paint booth made it even more crowded I love your videos best of luck in the future
Hey guys, one more thing to consider is curfew time. They may let you make noise all you want, but if the local law says only until 6pm.. that will suck cause you can't have buds over for night time drag racing.
That's a pretty nice spread all that land. Best to check into the codes for how the land can be used and what it's zoned for. If it's zoned as agriculture than that land can only be used as that. Every state is different!
Guys, you have to feel comfortable working. If money is not an impediment, go ahead with the purchase of the new land. If you have to sell the garage, the good thing is that the construction you made is new, which will ensure a very good sale price. Good things will happen to good, hard-working people like you, always.
Glad to hear you are wise enough to understand the neighbor thing. That could absolutely be a deal breaker. I actually bought the neighbors house just for that reason.
Sick property! And it’s flat mostly so it’s all usable. You could even make a nice bird hunting field. Pretty cool! Would Deff make the pond larger. And throw a fountain in it for water movement
@@garylgoldberg most of them have no titles or are being used as collateral for loans on other builds. Just about everything on there channel from the auction has no title or paperwork. Notice they never have real license plates on builds or let them leave the shop. The orange viper is the only build to ever be seen in public.
Wow Guys pretty cool stuff! However building any kind of paved track could easily run into the millions. Back behind the barn the neighbors are pretty close as well. I think the Goonzquad Garage in town is pretty darn cool and your just getting the paint booth sorted out. A member of my family ran a very successful body shop for fifty years with a shop that was smaller than your building and a separate paint building somewhat like what you guys have and he did really well and later his son ran it. You could build something up on the hill near your houses for storage of vehicles and things to keep your main shop clear for work. Going big can be cool but it might create a lot of headaches as well. You have a really cool shop where you're at for sure! Oh, what happened to the blue Mustang?
Wat I love the most about ur Chanel is .I can learn so much about so many other things than just cars ,u guys do a lil of it all .I've been following u guys since u started at the parents house. I've been ever since. U guys rock .
I personally think you need to look at western Montana (views galore) and HUGE expansive properties - and for you guys - AFFORDABLE! - Perhaps a river runs through it! You could also make you an airstrip and there's so much distance between you and any neighbors - that would never be an issue! Beautiful log homes and even build for Mom 'n Pops....And the BEST part - NO RESTRICTIONS!
@@davidj4662 Oh I don't know about that! For these boys, they can get all the TOYS that make winter fun! They can leave the lambos and ferraris for summer builds and badass 4X4s for winter.
Man I literally watched you guys go from your parents house to building your own properties I’m super happy for you fellas keep up the great work …..go for it.
You've improved that property so much. You'll make your investment back and then some. Take those earnings and invest them in a larger property with low restrictions. A pond would be nice for fishing. Make sure you build a much larger garage. You'll need a very large area just for vehicle storage, an area for work, and an area for offices. I suggest building a separate hunting lodge as well :-) I am not sure that new property is the right one. You don't want to drive your neighbors crazy with a race track and all the loud mufflers that would go with that. If you don't want to make noise on a regular basis, build something that doesn't have close neighbors.
yeah unfortunately they are thinking about the neighbors being the neighbors from hell, where as possibly they themselves could be the pain point with their noise etc. At their parents house, I am sure the neighbors were complaining because of the noise they were generating. Now don't get me wrong I enjoy a loud car as much as the next guy every now and then, but if I had it on a daily basis and at random time of day, well I'd probably get a bit peewed after a while too ...
I'd scout the heck out of the property. Ask around at the local coffee shop. Meet neighbors like you suggested. I could see a nice winding road course (like an autox course). You could time each car to see which one was the fastest around the course. Maybe make it 2 or 3 laps to get a good sample. That would be fun to watch.
You guys definitely need to expand, you should stay there for the time being and look for other properties where there’s no neighbours and you need no regulations and slowly make the transition to the new property, you both have worked so hard on the property you have now.
Would be an awesome development!!!! I am sure you would have no time for horses. But hey could see your office in the horse stalls, and the main area as a show room for the most special cars!!!!
Sorry about so many comments. The ideas are just flowing.. make sure the holes on the barn aren't bullet holes left by the crazy neighbors. Remember the golden rule, "if it's too good to be true, it probably isn't."
it took such a long time for you from buying this property - to getting all the right permits - to realizing your current shop.. i really can't imagine you guys moving to this other new farming property by any means in the very next future. but hey, that's why i love you guys. you always think bigger.
I remember not too long ago when the current Goonzqaud was nothing but a derelict lot with garbage and overgrown weeds. The progress that you and the family made to make it what it is now is astonishing.
I would say it's a great investment for what you guys do plus it would be great for the family, but I would also be quite mindful of the neighbors but like you guys said gotta see the pros and cons of the place.
Buy it and resell it and the commute 40 minutes in and out is way too long and you definitely want to be closer to your main shop and closer to your house that way your commute is 5-10 minutes versus 40 minutes. Keep the new goon squad garage
guys its been a few since you posted anything just waiting to see the next video one of these days ill save up enough to get some dang sauce till then ill keep watching hope you post more soon love watching youall
The new property looks amazing but seems to far away from everything else you need. Would be perfect for a house and maybe a storage unit for completed vehicles
This property will be amazing for you guys, plus I think you're out growing the current garage right now, and this would be so perfect for you guys. Plus, you can build new homes for you guys. I've been watching you lads since your surbru WRX your second build to the channel.
Just finished the paint booth, and ready to move on? Feel like you just need a spot to park all the stuff you're not using. The current shop would be more than enough room to work on 2-3 builds if you just had a parking lot/garage
I swear when you guys went through that gate and onto the property, the first thing that came to my mind was Southfork, and then the Dallas TV theme started playing.
DO IT!!! you should sell those stupid mountain houses that are hard to access and make a big chunk of money....and then build a GIANT building out there and houses...the commercial shop gave you SOO many issues that this one WOULDNT give you and you can go WAY bigger
Pull the trigger on it and put building triple the size of your garage on it. But keep the one you have now and slowly build that one up. That way you still have a shop to work out of.
The new Goonzsquad garage was pretty big and you boys outgrew that in record time! Y'all need something with a ton of space.. I can def see you on this property!
A full road course, skid pad, ten bay shop with two and four post lifts, frame machine, two paint booths, 1/4 Miller drag strip, both your houses, built ground up, horse and corral set up, got starters. Second channel name: The GoonzLife...
Gotta see if the land has any reserves on it. Here in DE some farm property have reserves on them so people can’t sell them and build sub divisions and stuff on them. Has to stay farm land for Z amount of years. And that barn could use some work. A roof specifically
Honestly, you guys have already outgrown this current property very quickly so it would really be a better investment to buy this current property You’re looking at or a similar property that you can build a much larger garage and build that race track and I remember asked you guys a few years ago what your dream build would be, and that was it.
That place is beautiful! It looks like a horse ranch. If the price is right, buy because they’re not making more land. There’s only so much land to go around and it keeps going up in price.
