Nelly’s always gonna protect her whether they’re together or not! If you’re in a relationship with someone and things don’t work out, the man will almost always be protective of the woman, they’ll always have love for them and want to keep them safe. I was out at a bar with some co-workers, an ex of mine included. And this weirdo guy kept coming over to talk to me and I was exchanging the usual pleasantries and kept politely turning him down. But no matter how many times I politely turned him down he kept coming back and getting more & more aggressive every time. I’d finally had enough and just outright told him “I’ve been polite to you, telling you that I’m not interested in you, and you can’t seem to understand, I’M NOT INTERESTED IN YOU, LEAVE ME THE FVCK ALONE!!” When I got loud with him all of my co-workers froze and came over to my defense because the guy still hadn’t walked away. My ex stood right in front of me and told him off, telling him “get away from her and get the fvck out of the bar!” This weirdo was average height maybe 5’8ish and scrawny, my ex is 6’4 very in shape and muscular; I thought the weirdo was gonna cry, lol! He put his beer on the bar and walked out! My ex even said to me ‘we may not be together anymore but I’m always gonna have your back and keep you safe.’ When you work in a field that is male dominated and you’re one of three females, the guys you work with become your family, your brothers. Some women may not like that, but I’m totally fine with their masculinity and protection, it shows that they care about you!
