You’re going to absolutely love your new home with all the extra room and perks. I got to drive a 24’ or 26’ Uhaul from Atlanta to the Mountains. I drove the first half and then switched with my husband. It was so scary to move from my home from birth to here. Best move ever and we had Bee a Great Dane/ Saint Bernard who weighted 167 lbs. RIP BEE ~ She lived a amazing long life. We have a Great Dane/ Black Lab & a Husky/ Pyrenees. They are 127 lbs & 110 lbs.

You did it! Congratulations! It's sad leaving your first house, but this one is where your family will grow and so many more happy memories will be made. Love you guys!

So much more room, and to have your own space where, if you don't want to make your bed because you have company coming over, will make it all worthwhile. Also a laundry room is a bonus. This house will grow on you really fast. Especially for Jack, his own room, and big enough for a big boy bed too. Or maybe two beds.

Congratulations on the new and bigger home. And remember, “home” is where your “hearts.” Are❤️ ……….and Sara, I have dealt with endometriosis in my lifetime. Apparently I had it during all three pregnancies. It was “discovered “ with the last because she had to be C-Section. I have never had any complications, pain, etc. I guess now we have “stages” of endometriosis- like it’s fatal or something. I hope you were not frightened when your gyno used those words. They are just words. I wish a lot of things about Western Med were different/ then I’m 64 and have experienced more life. I love your little family and look forward to your videos. ❤️

You need a doorlock with a Keypad that you put in a Code to open your door. You have had issues with Keys to your Car & the New House, so Keyless Entry for your New House would be best!

Moving is a great way to get rid of all the stuff you don’t need want or use. I’ve heard a good way is to get rid of anything you haven’t worn or used (except holiday stuff) I’m the past two years donate or junk it

What a beautiful new home, it’s perfect for your growing family - it’s refreshing to see homes that are similar sizes to what we live in! I’m Scottish and whilst I’m in a 3 bedroom bungalow, the rooms are similar sizes - your kitchen is bigger and you have a laundry room and that awesome master closet! I pray God blesses your family and your home! Praise God for getting you into the house when you were locked out! My husband and I got locked out of our home in a similar way when we were newlyweds and paid £50 for basically the credit card method 😂. One of the first things we did was change the locks and the door. If you keep the latch system, there should be an option to snub it open/ unlocked. You just need to remember to do that, or to always keep your keys on you. Your master closet could easily be a family closet which could save room in Jacks bedroom for play space. And the little play area would be so cute if you used a tension rod and hang some curtains and at night you can close them if the play area is messy (and Jack can put on puppet shows as he gets older).

Oh my goodness.. what a day! You’re both shattered. So glad you got back in .. phew.. yes get a new lock! Time now to make new memories ❤️

I just moved a u-haul size van from London to Devon,England. I hate moving and know the struggle. But damn it was worth it! You guys are gonna love that extra space! Want wait to see what you'll get up to in the new crib.

The first place is always special. The one we lived in was a total dump, but the memories were so good and pure. We only paid $250 a month rent to live there, and somehow we were still barely getting by. But it made for the best memories or struggle, creativity, love, and growth. You'll carry the tender feelings for your first place forever. It's a good thing!

So much work, but so worth it. Does the TV on the wall stay at the old house? I've moved several times, my favorite tip is just to remove drawers as is, filled with their contents and stack them in the vehicle. The dressers are lighter to move and you don't worry about the drawers sliding out. For hanging clothes, I grab a big group, zip tie them all together at the top of the triangle, and use a garbage bag to cover them; put a small hole in the bottom of the bag & make an open bottom garment bag by putting the hanger hooks through the hole. Easy peasy. Also glad you are changing the locks! 💜

Sarah & Derik, along with his brother Tanner & Lauren did an amazing job loading & unloading ALL their stuff into their new home. I've been through the same experience. Yes It needs to be done, but it's always worth it in the end. So happy for Derik & Sarah & of course Jack's new house! Way to go guys!!!!

I never have liked moving. Happy to know you had help because it is nearly impossible to move and having a toddler walking around. I know this is one of the videos I had missed but I still like watching all of your videos that I hadn't seen.

Well you did it. You can make awesome memories wherever you go. I brought all 3 of my babies home from the hospital and raised them in a little dinky 1300 sf. house. We moved after 22 years. Life goes on. God bless you 💕
