Be careful and watch for mold. If all the wet Sheetrock is not removed it’ll grow mold. Make them have a mold company give the all clear once repairs are done.
I'm absolutely sure that you're not the only ones who've had a messy closet. It's no big deal so don't stress over it. Life is more important than always cleaning and being organized. The mess you have is not going anywhere, it will be there for you to tackle when you're able.
Parenting tip: Don't talk quietly when baby is sleeping so that they fall asleep anywhere. Someone told me this and it is the best advice. My LO falls asleep anywhere and I cam do stuff during naptime
Baby Adalyn is so adorable sleeping on Mal's chest under the sounds of your voices and you spoke full volume! Probably you talking is music to her ears😊
It looks great and don’t be hard on yourself you can get the clean organized simple look but remember it is lived in so you’ll always have the homey lived in vibe and that’s okay it’s what makes y’all’s apartment your home

Adeline is a very beautiful baby girl. Us moms go through the 9 months of growing them and then the, sometimes, endless hours of birth, sleepless nights and breastfeeding just so that our babies look like their daddy’s when born. Sorry Mal, because she looks Cam, but it doesn’t mean she’ll always look like him🤷🏻♀️. Either way she’s gorgeous and healthy💖💖.

If I can share anything as a mom of 3, host momma to medically fragile kids and pediatric nurse: please stop being quiet around Adalyn when she’s tired and/or sleeping. She was prepared for all the noise y’all would make through the entirety of your pregnancy. Being quiet around her can actually be uncomfortable for her because it’s unnatural. It’s also setting you guys up for so many issues with vacuuming, cleaning, entertaining and just day to day activities we as parents have when you feel the need to tiptoe around sleeping children. Also, please enlist an older couple you trust who’ve been through parenting and the growth of family over the years. Listen to them for your future plans regarding space, logistics, and what’s needed to have adequate space for you and your family in the future. I’m so excited for y’all’s new adventure!! You’ve got this 🥰
For the nursery and guest room: at Ikea there is like a little couch really cute, which can be made to a normal single bed...and beneath space for a second matress to roll in and out ;) Did you had to get a new fridge? What about tge breast milk update?
There is peel and stick wallpaper you can put on the cabinet doors. Family dollar has peel n stick tile that is paper but looks really cool, i had ugly brown cabinets in a old house once but once i had my decor arranged i didnt really notice them.

Okay so it's too late for them. I have only moved three times and never once have I taken my clothes off the hangers. I just take them out the closet put them in the vehicle and transport them to the next closet. As far as things in the dresser I just pull them out and stack them on top of each other in the truck. And because one of my moves rained all day long I am so glad I chose to use Totes instead of boxes. So for my next two moves again totes only no boxes. Because you can reuse the totes.
Love you guys! Ok BUT…I have to know where you got baby Madeline’s personalized sweater that she’s wearing during the KiwiCo part?!?!?! I’ve seen Matt and Abby’s new baby wearing one similar but I think his has sleeves. It is just to stinking cute!! Congrats on the new apartment! Bar stools are great and maybe a fold down little table for romantic dinners. But i feel like a dining table is not needed in an apartment. I eat at my coffee table a lot and sit on the floor. You definitely want to get baby used to dining so when your in a restaurant she knows how to act but you have months before that's an issue. Congrats on all that space. 2 bathrooms...youll never want to go back to 1.
