@staceyerikson4982 Well, there's people for everything. And parents at that. They could have ignored our concerns. I'm gladly surprised they didn't. At the end of the day, I was worried about Sunny's mental health and how that would affect her currently and later in life when she realizes the layout of the house and her "place" in it (which would also represent her "role" within the family). The fact that they realised it too and changed it, it's much more than what other parents are eager to do. Everyone makes mistakes. Dereck was especially happy that both kid's rooms are now across from each other. So I'm giving the benefit of the doubt and understanding that maybe Sunny being in the basement had more to do with Sarah than with Dereck. As I have already mentioned in previous videos, Sarah didn't have the best relationship with her own mother, and many times, you can see how she projects it onto Sunny through the videos. I'm just happy this little girl is out of the basement, and the rest, we can not control! I ALWAYS encourage people to go to therapy before having kids, so they don't continue the chain of trauma onto their kids. Let's hope they get this and are taking the necessary steps towards being more fair as parents. Anyway, parents will affect their kids no matter what sometimes, and I've seen worse. (And it's not that the way they treat Jack is perfect either, but that's a whole different story). The fact that they rectified themselves is, to me, a cause of celebration. I prefer that over parents who don't even listen and put their kids at dangerous mental circumstances because of their own inner-child wounds and caprice.

Alittle harsh saying what you said about Sarah, do you know her personally? Do you know the family on a deeper level beyond what they film and show us ? I doubt it, and yet you write about Sarah as though you know her beyond youtube 🤔 strange ! Sarah and Derek and great parents, and you are a total stranger to them, you or anyone don't have the right to judge them, or let alone decide for them what's good or bad decisions they make in their own home and for their children! Just consider yourself lucky you get to see this Wonderful family grow, because THEY allow you too ! So maybe you should reconsider be so judgemental about a family you don't know ! I have studied psychology all my life, and I can see things beyond what everyone else sees / notices. And proudly so. However, I was not the only one with this concern, and having a newborn's bedroom in a basement IS a real concern. You sound more obsessed with them and idealising them than me, for just voicing out an actual and valid concern. I don't know them, and I don't need to know them to notice that a newborn alone in a basement is not only physically dangerous but also mentally dangerous for the baby. Also, I'm not here creating things to justify my points, I pay attention to the information they reveal in their videos, and you can see attitudes/thoughts/microexpressions, etc, on them. If you cannot, I'm sorry for you? You should follow your own advice and scroll on if you don't agree. I'm not the one believing to "know" them through their videos, I'm using what I see in the videos to tie up why they may make certain decisions at a psychological level. As I said, nobody asked for your approval; And when you point a finger at someone, just know that the other 4 fingers are being pointed towards yourself. Judging me for your perceived judgement? I can already see the difference in everyone’s energy toward the new house. Everyone seems happy and more relaxed already. They clearly knew the other house wasn’t for them, it just didn’t feel right. This feels like a fresh start in the right place, and good to be closer to Lo and Tanner. Good job all around, and the house looks beautiful! Can’t wait to see more of the tour.

I'm soo happy that sunny's bedroom is now close to her brother! When she was in the basement it feel wrong 😢 so apart from the rest of the family but now she has a gorgeous view❤

From what we've seen so far, I really like this house! That stairwell is beautiful and the trees outside are beautiful too. And the kids rooms next to eachother. This place seems a lot more homey. Congratulations!!

i wish you all well. I never got to grow up in the same home for more than 2 years before we moved I was a military kid and we moved all the time. It is nice to now have a home that I have not had to leave. This is our memory house.
You left behind a nice painting in the other house. Tanner was crazy for not getting the biggest truck. In addition to the rental fee, you pay per mile. The extra round trip probably cost more than $20. The sellers violated rules by taking fixtures-- the built-ins and shelves. Have your agent demand payment from them or threaten suing them. Congratulations! You are very blessed.
If the built ins were not attached to the wall, they're just shelving like a movable bookshelf and might have been a bargaining tool in the sale, but free for them to take if not.
@@sharondoan1447 Turns out that shelves are a controversial and interesting matter in selling real estate. Search "are shelves fixtures" to sew what I mean. The buyers could mention the removal of the shelves to the realtor, and the realtor could then ask the seller to replace them (or pay for replacement) if the shelves were considered a fixture or fitting. Or the realtor could tell the buyers to let it slide, or that the shelves weren't considered a fixture. No harm done in asking the realtor, even if just out of curiosity.

it’s a beautiful home!! my parents, sister and I just moved into a different house after living in the same house for 15 years and having all our memories in that house and in that town and then moving to a different town about an hour away from that house was hard a little because we also have all our family living so close to us and now they don’t but it was really nice to move bc now I’m only 10 minutes from school and a lot closer to friends and a way bigger house and a beautiful house as well is really nice!!! ❤

For me, your 1st house is nicer and more spacious, fitting in your furnitures and appliances. with huge outside wooden deck where kids can play. This one where you transferred have very small rooms and living room. Look like studio units in a building.
I thought so too, the new house is beautiful. I like the kitchen better than the old house, but the new house is very choppy, it has no flow. I think it would be stunning has a single level, the stairs take away from the view of the kitchen.

What I’m wondering is where do they get all their money? Seriously if you’re willing to go on social media and show us your lives. One can think where do they get all their money from. I don’t think Derrick or Sara ever mentioned that. Because they had their first home built that definitely cost well over a million. Now three years later they move to this house which I’m sure is at least that much if not more. I can’t help it if I’m just a tad bit interested in what they do for a living.

@@cancanlane7071 Social Media. They are content creators. They film, edit and publish glimpses of their lives. These platforms include RU-vid, TikTok, and other similar networks. Also, Sarah & Lo have a podcast that has become really popular. I would imagine they have other streams of income as well. They are young successful entrepreneurs living their best lives.
Basically selling your children for all to see ..Life is one long vacation the money they spend i find repulsive..these young children can not content to this kind of exposure
