I don’t usually comment on RU-vid but as I watched this I felt led to. I spent most of my twenties chasing after the wind, working very hard on building what I thought was “my best life”. I have nothing to show for it. I’m in my early thirties now and I have been trying to figure out what I should spend my life doing. God has given me so much and I haven’t used it out of fear. I feel like the servant who buried his master’s investment instead of multiplying it. I admit that I had lost faith. I often have thoughts of standing before God trying to explain a wasted life. I think God led me to this message. Thanks for sharing.
I’m in the same boat in my mid 30’s. But I declare courageous faith over us right now! The enemy CAN’T have our identities and our works, the chains are broken over our minds and we are FREE, living on purpose for purpose from this day forward. His will be done on earth as it is in heaven, in Jesus name, amen. 🙏🏽 ❤
I think you were led to comment because God doesn't want you to get under the weight of condemnation. It's not too late! I didn't come to Jesus until I was 58, 11 years ago. I've had to "hit the ground running" with faith, and still, have made many mistakes and don't have a lot to show for it. This video and the rest of his series is so helpful. I know God looks upon the heart. We need Him desperately, especially with our weaknesses and the enemy looking to take us out. Don't let go of your faith, love Him and His Word, and know He will help you because He's invested in you being an important part of His plan. The gates of hell will not prevail and He needs us to not quit! Leeland & Charity Gayle have a song "You're Not Done". It blesses me and it will bless you. Amen. I so needed this message. Just arranged a massive Revival for Jesus festival and I felt I might have heard wrong. But clearly I just need to stay focused. Lord forgive me and my lack of faith. Excellent, John. I am learning so much about family, Godly character and life as a Christian because of your ( and Lisa’s ) faithfulness. Your RU-vid posts are so poignant, especially in these times of worldwide turmoil. I’ve said it before; what a gift you both are to the Body of Christ.
I am in the beginning stage of my calling and i feel like i am not good enough for the position God placed me at. I am experiencing so much discouragement and disappointment. Thank you for sharing this. It encouraged me to continue to do what He has called me to do.
It's not about whether you are good enough. Jesus is good enough and He gave you His righteousness. Put your eyes on Him and not yourself. The devil and the world always directs us to focus on ourselves. If He called you, He is obligated to equip you for His purposes. I appreciate how difficult discouragement and disappointment can feel. Resist it because it is designed to get you to quit. The enemy is trying to stop you; get stubborn and refuse to yield to him.
