There is one constant I hear from people struggling in their business. They fall back on 'I can't ' statements. That type of defeatist mentality will forever hold people back. I've been a people manager for 25+ years working on very high profile and technical projects. 'Can't' is a forbidden word on my team. We address every obstacle with the mindset of 'how can I?'. There is always a way to meet your goals and overcome challenges, it just may not be what you have done in the past, are currently doing or what you thought would work at first. It may not even be something you want to do. Making excuses instead of finding solutions will forever keep you on the bottom of the pile, that isnone thingnI know for sure. Its okay to try and fail, but take it as a learning experience. Figure out what went wrong, learn from it and ask yourself what could I have done better instead of throwing in the towel and blaming others, the platforms or any other entity you have zero control over. Finger pointing never leads to success.

There's a question I'd like you guys to discuss on one of your episodes: Why do you think some re-sellers deny or dismiss the macro-economy? I can't figure this out. Some people take the view that the economy is meaningless and trying harder/believing in yourself is the path to success (regardless of business conditions). You have to try in order to succeed--but it doesn't mean you will succeed.

So let me get this right your blaming resellers for not selling things? On our podcast we only blame the platform. It helps with viewership. 😉 also Josh that was the best 45 seconds of hosting a podcast I’ve ever suffered through. I’m so glad it wasn’t cut out.

i used to do amazon. that's what got me into reselling the most. I started selling on amazon around 2017. I had 1 item doing 3-4k a week.. cost me 3$ and was selling on amazon for 35$. it was a great time.. then the Chinese hijacked my listing. was fighting them for the buy box for months. ended up just stop selling on amazon. Id admit it wasn't allowed to sell the item on amazon. (battery for a vape..a simple 510 battery..).. so amazon was cracking down also. so i gave up all together on amazon.

The customer is the only one paying fees on every platform doesn't matter who they invoice it to sellers get their money from customers no other way to generate money reselling
