as a dentists' kid, 100% they all have free dental on breaks & stuff, & generally the community all works together for specialists so like i always got free cleanings at my dads place & low cost if not free ortho from the doc he referred out to, he would in turn help other doc's families if they came to him.

26:00 for those who are curious, i actually looked into this on halloween last week bc i forgot it's details and wanted to re-learn the origin (: but yes trick-or-treating and dressing up did originate from Ireland/the Celts- it's a ancient Celtic festival of Samhain: signifying the cycle of life, death and rebirth. Halloween is the time when people release and let go of negative and lower energies that hold them back and celebrate the new energy that will eventually take its place, dressing up: People wore costumes and masks to disguise themselves as harmful spirits and thus avoid harm. Some festival traditions include: dancing, feasting, taking nature walks, and building altars to honor their ancestors.

I think the salt thing is a UK vs USA thing. I have never heard of salt in the dishwasher before and I have never seen it sold in the kitchen cleaner aisle in the store either. We do have a thing we can unscrew, inside the door of the dishwasher, that we can fill with rinse aids such as Jet Dry. But, never heard of using salt. I will have to do my research.

i wasnt a dentist but i was a insurance guy for a little while, and no, i was not given life insurance. i could get a discount, but because the company i worked for, one of the big ones, hired us as a mix between employee and contractor so the people who worked for said company did not get automatic life insurance

As someone who has worked in corporate restaurants in America, the answer is No, we don't get free food. In some cases, we don't even get discounts. The only time I ever got a staff meal of any kind, it was when I was working for a noncorporate restaurant.

7:41 - I know why there's no window. I know what they don't want you to see. The water in the dishwasher is recycled. That means that before the final rinse, there's a certain amount of food debris in the water at any given time. They don't want you to see the machine spraying your dishes with hot beige food mud and thinking your pipes are fucked up.

As an F1 fan, that conversation was hilarious. There are lots of types of salts. It is a term for specific types of chemical compounds. Magnesium Carbonate (MgCO3) is chemically a salt.

From my understanding salt is used to soften the water. America doesn't use salt in dishwashers because we tend to soften water through the whole house. (Not an expert, just googled so you don't have to)

Time to put my household-appliance costumer service information finally to good use: Putting in salt (special dishwasher salt that is. DO NOT PUT NORMAL SALT IN UR DISHWASHER OR YOU WILL GET RUST/DAMAGE UR MACHINE!) in your dishwasher makes the dishes dry better/more shiny where certain dishwasher tablets mainly do the cleaning and do more for the shiny-ness. To much salt will stain the dishes (where mainly you can see the glasses turn almost white) but too little will leave the dishes really wet after a program, really expensive dishwashers dont reaaally use alot of dishwasher salt and clean, mostely, with different technology. It also helps with clogging.
