Victory Hill is located in the in the North East Kingdom of Vermont, and just on the other side of Burke mountain from the Kingdom Trail network is one of the few places in the area with big mountain bike jumps and drops, outside of a bike park of course. It's unique setup makes it super fun to do quick pedal laps and then regroup and resupply in the parking lot.

Some of you may have seen this already, but I was on the new Podcast from the crew behind Mahalo My Dude called Feeding Off Each Other. You can catch that here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0Q2MW2lH-I4.html or any of you favorite podcasting apps. People over on my other RU-vid Channel better say I need to promote it better. That rock landing is stoppie nation! Hey Phil do you ever mess around with other riding styles to compliment your own? Some guys have that wild scandy flick and nose bonk on everything in their path, and some guys are scrub masters etc. Just curious if you see other riders stand out features and try and incorporate them into your riding?

you need to check out Clyde's pond windham NH trails. they are build on a huge hill. you can do runs by riding up the road and going down only or you can go up thru the woods. they are constantly adding features and lots of stuff like this. its free too. huge see saw. lots of big natural drops. skinny's. i heard they added a bunch more stuff. i lived across the street but recently moved further up north to be closer to highland. its def worth the ride if you in south eastern NH. they also have two free snowboarding ski hills. one is straight down and the other is all rails the whole way down metal plastic flat ones you can ride on your bike lol. they also have natural log rails. its 45 mins from highland. yudicky park in Nashua NH is good as well. but not as down hilly as Clyde's.

Thank you so much for making these videos. I got an indoor spinner bike, and have a mountain bike on lay-a-way at a local bike shop. Good luck fam! I'm not as heavy (but i'm also quite a short dude,) but when I started I was wildly unhealthy and had really bad knee pain from my youth. 4 years after starting up mountain biking my knees are barely hurting me anymore and i'm in some of the best shape i've ever been in. Me neither. This is the first time ive seen this issue in the terabytes of footage I've recorded. To me, its as if one of the processes the camera does internally got out of whack. If i replay things frame by frame, theres a lot of weird warping going on. Also in some shots, i feel like it wasn't cropping in on the sensor which is needed to stabilize the footage. It was also pretty hot that day, so perhaps it was a result of that? Either way it's super annoying but luckily not a huge deal. Bugs will come up eventually in every product if you use them a lot

It's funny, because it's true. I mean who would even SEE the line on the SIDE OF THE FREAKING ROCK like that? And there's a tree RIGHT THERE! On the live POV, I thought he was going to miss the drop as he approached, and I cringed. WTH just happened? Then he showed where he rode it and my first thought was....WHY??? Then I remembered the first rule of Phil's channel. Expect weird stuff to happen.
@willbros1499

Nothing to see here. Just a full-length video of pure entertainment, sick gaps, tree-eating triples, and hitting drops off the side of the rocks. For most of us, that would be the day of a lifetime to pull off one or two of those ridiculous feats. For Phil....it's a Thursday. Your POV footage is the best, the off the bike clips are the best, and you capture the stoke better than pretty well everyone. I'm just always sad when they're over.....

if you want minimal knee pads, that are very ventilated, can't tell they're on when riding, stay up and don't fall down, I'd recommend Dainese trail skin pros. I just got these 2mo ago and have ridden a couple 4 hours rides in them and after the ride forgot to take them off they're so comfortable. Protection is there and side protect from frame knocks on the knee which is my main concern. Love them and have recommended them to 3 people so far. Ventilation is nearly like they aren't on so for me, when its 95deg and humid as hell... they're awesome. Maybe not great in the winter months? Sizing was pretty good. Measured and ordered and they seem a bit tight at first though after 8 rides they're mint and fit perfect.

170mm front, 160 rear. This place was one of those places where I could run a small bike or big bike and be happy. It's flat enough that a small bike would be at home in the tight compressions, but it'd get overwhelmed in the New England Chunder. A big bike is a bit less ideal for the flatter bits though once you get up to speed it's playful and carries more speed through that chunder.
