i agree. the coverage is insane!

the sunscreen filters in this aren’t approved in the US so it is not able to be sold in US stores. but you can have this shipped which is how i get the majority of my sunscreens now. For this sunscreen I purchased it from ‘Care to Beauty’ online retailer.

Hello again. The filters are not banned in the US they simply haven’t been processed yet because they are newer filters. Sunscreen filters are considered a drug product not cosmetic meaning they take time to be approved just like any other medicine. Care to beauty is regarded as generally safe and they’re located in Portugal. I haven’t seen anything online to suggest otherwise but there is another european beauty retailer from France called Cocooncenter.co.uk and these guys have plenty of proof to show their authenticity and they are part of the federation of e-commerce. yes it is drying. moisturizing well before applying helps a bunch.

@@geegee508 do you agree or disagree with the claims that alcohol long term use on the skin can compromise the skin barrier and cause inflammation? Like literally half doctors agree with that and the other half say it's ok, alcohol evaporates. I don't know who to trust 😭

hello. so depends on where the alcohol is coming from. ingesting alcohol has a myriad of effects on the body and very clear solid evidence to show that. putting pure alcohol on the skin is drying and can irritate skin depending on dose and chronic exposure but this is formulated in a product so it makes it a bit harder to say. i personally think that if your skin seems to tolerate this well I do not find a big issue with this. i have rosacea and my skin barrier by default is compromised and i find that my skin tolerates this okay. Alcohol should not be applied on damaged skin barriers so I personally use this on my body since the skin is thicker and can handle it. If you do feel concern you don’t need to purchase this product. there are so many lightweight sunscreens without any alcohol.

yes. but if you have dry skin just moisturize beforehand since this does have a lot of alcohol it can dry out the skin

for face and neck I’d say around 3 weeks to a month. sunscreen is the most costly part of one’s skincare routine. I also would recommend korean sunscreens as they are more affordable and they have amazing formulations.
