The ads and affiliate marketing.. was an issue before HCU... But at least you got the answers you're looking for .. Now after the HCU ..you get big brand sites with very vaguely related articles to your query... Where smaller sites had more targeted answers...now its completely unisable.. They want you to use their AI answers instead
@@AffluentTales true . They already have their answers..but they remove the incentives for blogs to provide them with answers... Maybe they're hoping to get their answers from Reddit 😕
@@jzajzz That'll Lower the quality to complete junk. Online articles don't just throw out answers randomly. Most good blogs do lots of research before posting, unlike random Redditors who can talk about anything and pretend to be experts.
Agreed. Hope Bing will take more market share from them. They have gone entirely downhill since Sep HCU with hypocritical deflection in their released statements.
Google’s market share actually decreased from 87% to 82% while Bing increased from 7% to 11% in 2024. It’s going downhill until they fix their sh*t. x.com/beth_kindig/status/1788054791492661558?s=46&t=zuRqxuxIKUuKOs18b8j8Dw
Totally agreed that independant publishers can no longer rank high as long as u have lots of money to do advertising, what s the point to create good content while yr content may be used by those with high authority domains which are always on the top no matter their content bad or good , sometimes, u can find all search results are newspaper which has lots of annoying ads , wasting audiences time
I agree with everything you've said, but you're missing an important point. Media sites, big brands get all the top rankings not just because of pagerank, but because they can potentially demand payment for their news content. The current system provides them with multi-billion Dollar rankings, the bill for which is footed by smaller websites.
My opinion is to make a website that acts like a book carying links to various websites on the internet and arrange them into categories. These links will be ranked based on quality and usefulness by users and not by an outdated search engines. Publishers will be able to present their websites into that virtual book. And users can search manually by topic inside the book upvoting useful authenticated articles and downvoting useless low-quality articles. Then maybe search engines and ai programs can use the book as a reference.
It's quite simple the biggest consumers that are Google partners that spends billions a year on advertisement is getting push down in search by irrelevant marketers who cheat the simple to get paid without advertising . You know how many people doing that right now? I believe these partners didn't like not being on top and spending that much to get less results. Google in my opinion has to balance the playing field to appease the elite or it's Game Over. Unfortunately for me I don't have these problems you all have because when you do Trust Based Ranking like I do you won't be making videos like these...that I guarantee
