Kiriko honestly seems perfectly fine this season, she's quite a middle ground character as of right now it feels (which is kind of relieving) so I agree that she doesn't need any changes, as of right now at least
With the Dps passive i see myself using Suzu non stop. Also making the kunai bigger did seem to make it harder to avoid the body and land a headshot. aiming above heads is a little wonky. Tracer never gave me a problem with Kiri but her arms get in the way of the kunai now lol. Taking pressure of tracer
A fellow support main who has a balanced view of their role in the game? Amazing. I play mostly Lifeweaver, and yeah healbotting just isnt the play in this patch, at least at higher levels. I might be in the minority that actually likes to healbot. I think the DPS passive has been good for the game, it's just hit some supports harder than others, which should be ironed out.
Crazy right? hahaha. Playing mostly lifeweaver must be TOUGH in this meta. I think the nerf to the passive will bring him up though. I don't think he's terrible coz of hit utility and shield break, but could definitely use some help haha
Dont sleep on the thorns. The new hitbox/projectile sizes really help them lay out some damage. Just have to engrain in your mind that more pressure applied is better than healing sometimes which is a hard change for LW.
Agreed with everything you said, and I think the way she needs to play right now, if a tracer complains that I suzued her pulse its honestly just a skill issue because you need to use suzu earlier and more frequently so just wait until suzu got used. This patch im mostly playing Kiri, Bap or Moira for main supports, and if we have a comp and a map that can use him I love to play Lucio as well...
right ther ewith you. Bap, Kiri and Moira is my hero pool recently with the occasional Zen. I suck ASS at Lucio even tho he's hard meta. Ngl I find Lucio really good on any map rn
I find myself healbotting more on kiriko. The most frustrating thing is when 3ppl are half hp and they press "need healing" while I can't keep up. So it's really nice when I have a bap or moira as a second healer. Personally I find kiriko to be okay. She definitely has that problem of being better in organised play and worse in ranked. I'm getting more value out of moira in most instances. I don't think they need to make too many changes before the next patch. Some changes I'm hoping to see though is a buff to ana, which she's getting, and a small buff to rein.
Thing is in those situations, you need to be outputting more pressure rather than trying to out heal the damage. If you prefer that playstyle, bap/moira are prob better picks for the AOE healing. Very curious to see what buffs come out today tho :eyes
DPS passive 100% needs to be based on how much damage is done. I abuse it on reaper by standing back and shooting into the entire team applying it to everyone at once since a single pellet will land on someone
im a kiri one trick and i can agree with a lot of the things you said other than "saving suzu". i use it off cd a lot of the time since the damage that's being applied to teammates is simply too much for single target healing, especially during the matches where they're immune to cover
i replayed that part a few times and it flew over my head 😅. i’ve always been more of an “aggressive suzu” enjoyer as a lot of the time, especially in metal ranks, nothing will die until you make a play for your team, so if i’m about to die while flanking/off angling i just suzu + tp out (assuming the game allows me to use my cooldowns without the annoying kiri delay)
