@@rayyf69 it’s just so weird that he just left and didn’t ride it out. The fans don’t care about some weird, vague controversy. We just got anted that sweet, sweet pod action.
@@YSOSIRISS Okay so......it's a long, weird, vague story wherein P.J Vogt and Shruthie Pinnamaneni were accused of creating a toxic, clickey work envronment. ALso, i guess there was a supposed lack of diversity at the Reply All Headquarters so a few employees attempted to form a union that would attempt to correct this issue. P.J Vogt and Shruthie ( i hope I'm not butchering her name. I have so much respect for her) tried to block said Union for whatever reason. Reply All then did a story on the racist actions/culture of a fancy, elitist magazine called Bon Appetit. In short, one of the guys who was unionizing the Reply All staff listened to the Bon Appetit show, decided that it was hypocritical, and wrote several very long winded tweets detailing all the issues that had been plaguing Reply All behind the scenes, and the Woke Mob essentially did what they always do. P.J and Shruthie both stepped down, the show went through a brief hiatus, apologies were given, and now the show is back with a replacement for Vogt, and sparse, occasional offerings. Last I checked, P.J Vogt was angrily tweeting about how Alex Goldman has chosen to sell off the controlling stake of the podcast and dark skeleton armies roam the charred wasteland in pursuit of human flesh. I will miss Reply All. If you get a chance, they had a pre reply- All podcast called TLDR. It's not as good as Reply All but it's in the same spirit and it's nice and simply a show about the internet.
