Hey everyone, I'm still here! Its been a couple of months but I'm back. I've not been able to work on much this summer but I'm giving you a little update video of what is to come, hopefully!
FYI there is A LOT of talking in this video so it may not be your cup of tea.

You are creating a museum of the Industrial Revolution. It’s a worthy endeavor for education and entertainment. A couple thoughts to ponder. I hope you have a good inventory system of all your projects so you can keep track of the most important displays of your museum. Also an apprentice program so young people can learn how these revolutionary inventions work, and develop their own restoration skills so we don’t just see all that beautiful cast iron crumble into scale. And yes, I know how ADD can drive a project or mothball it forever. I’ve been there too. Love your videos. Best of Luck! Dan Rogers

Here's my $.02, keep it all one channel, but keep the new and old subjects in separate videos (which I think you already plan on). As far the order of projects I'd like to see: #1 is the Aussie side shaft. I'm with your Dad on that one! #2 would be the screen cooled Famous. They're neat engines and I think it would be a valuable video for those of us in the hobby. #3 is the Aeromotor. It sounds like that would be a quick little project and I think an in depth discussion of the process you took to get the new head made would be useful. Besides, those are just super cool and unusual engines. I've mentioned this before, but I like the way you include an entire project on one video. While it may make for long videos, it makes for better continuity. If someone doesn't have time to watch the entire video, they can always stop and later pick up where they had to quit watching.

Glad to see you back 😊. It’s not that we are weird it’s that we have an old iron disease! I’m in NE Ohio and have been infected for over fifty years now 😳. Keep it all on one channel is my vote. Keep collecting because they aren’t making machines like this anymore!!

The Ford buzz coil with the tube is to power an electric fence. When the ball makes contact it will power a wire that then will magnetized the other end and make it pulse.

Tell me you watch "TheZachLife" channel? He's a guy who makes a living from old oil wells ( and some newer stuff ). It's a fascinating channel, and it just so happens that he has at least a couple of rod line pump jacks. Unfortunately, they're not driven from a central power unit anymore, but they are still operated by their original rod lines that his grandpa installed decades ago. Also, quite interestingly, there's "small engine mechanic" who has a very similar looking "Oil Well Supply Co" engine, which he was restoring to life a little over a year ago. I have no idea why, but I just find this stuff fascinating. Oh, and you're not alone when it comes to stalled projects - we have here a tractor rebuild which began about twenty years ago, and is still in bits. Even a couple of two wheeled tractors and a few engines, though nothing as old as yours - If it comes to that there's a multitude of generators still awaiting attention. You're a fellow after my own heart, that's for sure!

You and I have a similar case of being “overly ambitious” as far as “projects” go. I have just last month admitted defeat due to my “advanced age” and I’m in the process of selling my Gas Engine collection. It’s a sad day.

I love your old windcharger. I grew up in the Texas panhandle and all the little farm houses had a windcharger. The wind blows 24/7 across those high plains. My grandpa and I worked on lots of windmills and windchargers. We had oil wells and the big and miss engines. I love getting to see the machines again!

Good to see you back! Keep it all on one channel. I like the mix of content. You remind me of me with too many projects, so little time. I have a model 37E KR Wilson 50-ton press made in 1949, almost identical to yours that was originally electric over hydraulic. That one you have is a pretty decent looking unit. It looks like maybe part of the power unit may be original to the press, but not sure about it. Mine isn't original, but it has a nice old dome top Blackhawk 10k psi unit made in 1953 that works extremely well for power. I went through my press last winter and fixed everything and repainted. Even took the press bed off and threw it on the mill so it's nice and flat now. You might watch Keith Rucker on one of his latest videos he re-powers his 60-ton press with an electric pump.

Enjoy watching your channel! I love working with old engines. I have a could hit and miss and would love to mess with more of them but around here they are all bought up and the ones available are either in non salvageable shape or priced at a I don’t really want to sell it price. If you could put some values on your stuff so we know what things are worth. Also repairs like cast welding cost and fabrication cost. Would be valuable information

I watch a you tube called wonderhussy. She visits many old sites out west. She comes across old engines that were used at mining sites. It's a shame to see these engines just rusting out in the elements. Maybe someone out west could save this old historic machinery.

If it's mechanical, old, unique, off the wall bizarre, are it just irritates traditionalist just because it does, and are is highly functional then I'm with you.. Second channel will consume more time than if you just do whatever on the original channel, and when it's all said and done. It's your channel your choice as to what, and how you wish to spend your time. That said most people interested in the old engines you're into, are mechanically minded, and have a varied taste for lack of a better word, interest in most anything mechanical, but tend to like the simple times of machinery without the space age involvement that just over complicates things of this nature. At least that's how I view such things. I also suffering from AADDHD, with the highly questionable Adult attached to the front side, along with all the other add hyperactive disorder onto the end for good measure, although it's somewhat calmed down at 66 years of age, and having abused my body with the self named King Kong syndrome thinking that I was big enough to be indestructible in my younger years, only to learn that eventually that time wears even the largest of mountains down to dust eventually. So long way around to say, you feel it's worth your time and, then I can either choose to watch it, or go tinker with my own list of long overdue projects, that probably won't be completed by myself, but hopefully whoever picks up the pieces will be further along due to the parts and pieces I've acquired over the time I've had them thinking that one day once it was all gathered I'd finally get it done. Lol, ain't a snowballs chance in a pizza oven honestly. Yet one never knows until it's over that isn't going to get everything done, at least by his hands. If that helps you out, are just muddied the water that much more, then I've at least been consistent in everything else in my life at always seeming to at least accomplish that much. LOL, remember there's one thing about time that people tend to forget, and that's if you don't use it, you're never going to get it back. Because once it's gone, it's gone, ain't no second chance with thar aspect of life.
