In today's video we are going through the final steps to finish the wood floors. We need to put down the first coat of polyurethane, let it dry for 8 hours, do a light sand, wipe the floors clean, apply a second coat of polyurethane, let it dry for 8 hours and then assess whether or not we need to repeat the entire process in order to apply a 3rd coat or not. Once we are satisfied with the floors (and they have dried for 72 hours) we can move everything back in and begin working on permanently placing the kitchen island/adding electric.
