I think the Disney Springs one is very worth it. They generally have a virtual queue. So we go get on the virtual queue list, go have dinner, go to world of Disney, and then generally were called back somewhere around that time, and only have to wait about 15 minutes. The nitro cold brew peanut butter is amazing as well.
When I saw the video title I was confused; now it makes more sense LOL. Hearing the journey these cookies went through is the highlight of my day. This is my excuse to fly first class soon if some cookies could do it 😂
Fun video! Really enjoyed that! I probably will wait in line next time we are at Disney Springs. The ambiance of the shop I've seen by other vloggers looks really cool.
Agreed! The most we would wait for Gideons is a max of 30 minutes. We always go to East End Market if in the area. I was starting to get bummed that no one liked the Banana Bread one. That's our absolute favorite! Then you came to the rescue Chris 😂 Glad you liked it! My top 3 from Gideons are Banana Nut, Cookies and Cream and their October special, The Bride of Frankenstein which is a Monster cookie. Other top brands for us are Levains Cookies which they're getting a store front in LA!!!! How exciting! But you can also order them from their website to ship home! So so so so good. Such a fun video! I was cracking up with the girls when they tasted the spicy one. And I said the same thing "why is it salty?" When I tried the chocolate chip cookie from Gideons. That's the only thing I don't like from them. That they add salt. I always pick mine off.
Disney Springs Gideons has great theming, and we enjoyed the cookies and cake. But it's a one and done for us. There's another bakery there that already owns our hearts and bellies: Sprinkles. If you've never received baked goods from an ATM, it's truly an experience. 😊
At Disney Springs we got the chocolate covered cookie pieces and the cake as well, yum! The store itself is an experience also. We didn’t wait very long though.
I always look forward to watching your videos! I love cookies, but I don’t think I would wait an hour in line to get one. Now if we’re talking about banana soft serve that’s a different story 😜
Disney Springs Gideons is definitely an experience, if you get in line at 9 a.m., or shortly after, once the shop opens at 10 the line moves fairly quickly. They also do virtual que if the line gets too long, so that’s an option if you have a down day. Love the atmosphere inside the shop and they also have some phenomenal cake slices (sometimes specialty treats) and some cool merch.
We really liked Gideon’s Cookies. Their Pumpkin cold Brew was so good! We thought it was worth the 1/2 hour wait. We thought their cookies were better than Crumbl. See you in less than 2 weeks! 😊
Tried the key lime cake and it's amazing. Rich and filling, but that's worth the wait. I had to carry half of it home on the plane. I've only had the pistachio this time around, but have cookies and cream and chocolate chip in my freezer.
We waited about 20 min but we arrived about 15 min after opened. I recommend getting there before they open. It should be even shorter then. We too tried several flavors. My fave were the banana chocolate chip and the coffee cake (available in a.m. until sold out). Would I wait more than 30 min? I don’t think so. But I would plan for an early arrival to DS to wait in a shorter line. Getting them on the day we leave makes for a nice treat on the drive home. 😋
We tried cookies and a piece of cake from the Disney Springs location once and I have been back to Disney Springs on three trips since then and didn't feel the need to go back. The cookies are good but not a must have in my opinion. On my last trip I tried the signature cookie at Riviera resort and that was delicious! I brought a pack home and my husband really enjoyed it too.
you guys gotta try levain (from NYC, but they have locations/are opening more and more across the country), best cookies i've ever had! you can also order them online.
Best cookies. We went on a Sat, it was crazy busy, virtual line call back was 4 hours. My Aunt went back on the Wed while we were there around 2, barely a wait. So I think in future trips plan to go on a weekday in the middle of the day or probably early morning those days are less busy.
