If Im not wrong, satay is only available on SQ's Book the Cook (BTC) Service, which is only available upon request from Premium Economy and above. Not too sure if it is destination-restricted as well. Not sure about other airlines since SATS is the main caterer for all airlines, but depending on the airline and the destination and the fare class (usually the destinations of other airlines are tied to their hub countries, unless it is a fifth freedom flight, eg Ethiopian Airlines from Addis Ababa to Kuala Lumpur via Singapore). So good luck trying to locare that satay hahas.
I thank John for being in this episode. I have always given benefit of doubt that there are many unsung heroes to doing work but then there are always people who are complaining the food is bad/presentation not nice/SQ standard drop/packaging look very low class etc. If people were more appreciative, then basically the world can be a slightly better place.
Can do part timer episode for more blue collar? Plumbing, residential Aircon installation, lift maintain, funeral parlour assistance, cremation assistance etc .. Urban farming etc
@@skjr4801 I think its slower. As much as using tongs being a more eco-friendly way, you have to remember that the food has to look almost consistent and the plating has to be clean as well. To prevent food for sitting out for too long, speed is another factor etc. Using hands is a more consistent and quick way to get things done. If there is food poisoning, then its another issue. This is a big reason why the pilot and co-pilot CANNOT be eating the same meal during flight, in case of food poisoning, at least one will be available to direct the plane to safety (unless that flight is damn suay, where all kena).
@@johcx1994 I strongly believe that this should not be let go when you are bullied by a full timer with his few staffs who are non-locals when I work on my first day. No one has told me instructions, I had to ask them. All they did, was to laugh at me instead of guiding me. ITS OK if you think it’s common because you are not in my shoes and said it’s ok to feel that way and workplace bullying is the right thing to do :)
@@icekimchiii Well I never mentioned anything about bullying its ok. While you mentioned it is toxic, I only mentioned that this is quite normal in many workplaces. If you did your best and got bullied, then it is your right to leave. Please don't assume more than what it is, especially when there are no facts or nth is found about such. Additionally, you mentioned about a high standard of hygiene and all. When working in the food industry, this is common and expected. Like I've mentioned, unless you can factually tell me where I went wrong, or not dont go out of context. You never mentioned about your experience and neither did I give a generalized comment about your full experience. Be factual at times.
