NEW GAME CONCEPT: *Can be solo or scramble* Everyone starts off at the front tees, once a person/team birdies from front tees they move back to the next tees, once they birdie those tees they move back again. So on until they make it to the tips & birdie those. If you eagle a hole, move back TWO tees. Think this could be a good concept & competitive for all good good players.

Back in the late 1990s, I played a round with my brother in law while we were on vacation. I had checked my clubs onto the flight with me, but my brother in law played with a rental set. That rental set was the Ping irons in this video. On a 180 yard pard 3, I hit a solid shot with my Hogan Apex 7 iron and I ended up about 25 feet left of the hole, pin high. I then hit a ball using the rental Ping 7 iron just to try the irons out. I missed that shot so hard-must have been an inch or more off the sweet spot. I immediately said "that's not clearing the water." I then watched in astonishment as the ball flew and stopped immediately, about 25 feet right of the hole. That ball would have lost 30 yards off my blades. But you could also flush those Pings and hit them WAY too far.

Damn Steve is looking great for real! I know you wont see this, but keep it up man!

Steve is the sh*t. Love his game and he is effing funny! He's not the best golfer on the channel but he usually contributes a few clutch shots or putts to these scramble matches. He keeps it relatable for all of us 10 to 12 handicappers . I love how Steve walks off his good drives like he just homered in the bottom of the ninth to win the game. He might be the most entertaining golfer on youtube.

Nice to see Sean on the channel. Gives some perspective to the amateur masses how even the mini-tour players have the ability to turn it on/off for fun vs. tournament settings. Also: Ben and Brad are a vibe, and were an impeccable add. Vastly differing types of humor, delivering a similar message...tough to do!

You guys should do 3v3 match but each player on each team gets 1 club. This would be super interesting. So one player could take a driver and they can only hit driver from the whole time. One player could hit 7 iron ect. I think it would be interesting to see what clubs they would take.

Guys this was a blast to watch and I have to say it was cool to see that the guys who won played with the cheapest set of irons made by Snake Eyes Golf. But to be honest the Snake Eyes MB1 irons and the 600b irons were as good as any at that time and maybe better then some. I would love to see more of this maybe even have a major played with all flea market finds or something like that and include stacked golfs Jon to participate.. GOOD GOOD LETS GO!!!!!!!!!!!

The "A" or "AW" stamped on certain golf clubs stands for "Approach" or "Approach Wedge." Approach wedges are simply another name for a Gap Wedge (GW), a golf club with a loft between a Pitching Wedge (PW) and a Sand Wedge (SW). It's also common for golfers to refer to one of these clubs as an "Attack Wedge."

Just an idea for the next pro shop/thrift store challenge. Make the amount of money spent worth something. The team who spends the least starts with a lead. For example it could go: Team who spends the least: start -2 Team who spends second least: start -1 Team who spends the most: start even

@ScottLederer 1 year ago You guys should play a scramble (either Twigs v Stumps or 2v2v2) where the team ALWAYS has to take the last shot they take. If the first person bombs one down the center of the fairway, the team can either take that shot or try to improve, but once they hit the next shot they have to play that one, even if it’s a shank.
