Honestly, I feel like their popularity is nothing revolutionary, but rather simply a modern take on golf. Compare the attitude in professional golf to any other sport and you'll find that someone who celebrates an incredible shot or a clutch putt or a striped drive... it's all so subdued and office-like (keep your voices down, if you celebrate, keep it short and sweet, etc, etc)... whereas... I mean, American Football actually has rules about how one can celebrate BECAUSE THEY EXPECT BIG CELEBRATIONS. Good Good isn't 'golf with an attitude', it's simply a celebration of golf with a modern, normal attitude. They love the game, but get bored with 100% basic stroke play so they mix it up a bunch with alternative formats... You're spot on, though: I feel like it is the future of golf and that it encourages your average Che (me!) to keep getting out there and having fun in my own way on the course.. and not to tie myself to bare basic stroke play constantly. Why not do woods only challenges, or irons only... or a 3 club challenge... They're definitely evolving the sport. It's simple, fun, and relatable. I don't think golf has ever been considered all three of those things before. It's pretty incredible!

@@chetranqui I think GG ought to be pleased to hear you say all that. It opens up the golf experience to random expressions of joy we’ve often not associated with golf. You’re right: golf has always sorta been a zero sum game. There’s a winner. And the winner was always a deliberate, calculated creature… sometimes born to the outcome (Tiger, Jack). Here, we know someone “wins” (as it were) but it PALES in comparison to the experience they’re all having together. Some of it is rolling over into “legend” status (Matt’s aces, Grant’s lip outs). I don’t remember what team “won” when Matt aced the par four. Who does? Who cares? They’ll expand this eventually, taking on more collaborations… more interactions with touring pros… and I suspect (!) they WILL (eventually) get to some kind of mini fixed live tour of some sort or fashion. I’ve been watching this product for a minute now. It’s one of the best success stories I can recall for the golf vertical. Keep swinging. Enjoy the ride. These don’t come down the pike every day.

There is no doubt a lot of thinking going on but I think at the heart of this enterprise is really good-natured people who aspire to be good people. They've done this above the fray of the ridiculous, conjured paradigm that the world's controllers have attempted to force us all into. They are giving evil the Divine finger.

I think many people could do well with learning a thing or two from you (me included), as just based on your comments here I can sense that you must lead a very full and wealthy life. The Good good guys make incredibly well shot and produced content about an old and expensive game with a lot of misplaced stigma. But its a game that is equally as misjudged as it is exciting (and addicting), and they capture it in a way that caters to the shortened attention span of my generation. While technology may influence us (and the younger generations that proceed us) in a few more negative ways than we'd like to admit, it has also raised the bar to braaand new heights, and GG has been reaching up to grasp it with no hesitation.

Grant is the most technical. But Garett is more of an natural athlete where if his game is on, his power makes a difference and his wedge shots are phenomenal. Micah hands down is the best of the 3 tho
