How the hell has he gotten so much worse compared to this time last year? I expected him to get a lot better because he was dedicating himself to improving his game and he's an athletic dude with a solid swing when his timing is good. Is he not practicing? He decided against dedicating himself to getting better? He's hitting his driver decently, but his irons are trash. His short game is trash. His putter can get hot but he also hits a lot of really bad putts. I feel bad saying those things but I'm genuinely curious why he hasn't been able to get more consistent.

@@Butcho22 The guy definitely doesn't practice enough. That being said, I think he's like a 12 handicap, and has only been playing for about 3 years. The vast majority of golfers will never even get good enough to play bogey golf. The part of his game I don't think you can really falter is the putting. He hits some bad ones, but not often, and frequently drains putts from over 10 feet. He always goes first in the scrambles too, so never has the benefit of getting a read. They have him putt first because of how often he just makes them.

@@gbone2636 I would also add that he could probably play at a 5 without improving and just playing smarter. If he had a tour caddy on the bag he’d do really well. He’s got a lot of talent for someone who doesn’t practice a ton and not everyone wants to practice grind their whole life. I bet he eventually comes back and really works on the game.

@@alligatorshade8110 if he had a tour a caddy? How bout just be more serious like Grant, Micha, Garrett? Matt, Steve, and Bubbie are the relatable ones. Matt's game has declined recently too. But only tour players have tour caddies so that's a bad comparison
