I’ve been watching for a long time and it’s been so cool to watch you guys be less angry over things. Or maybe more accurately, still getting angry but forgetting it by the next smash match or something. You’re more willing to laugh at yourselves and not take it seriously and I’m so proud. I’ve tried to emulate that when I play games too and it’s no easy feat sometimes. So I just want to say thank you for literally showing character development😂

I hate horror movies too. My favorite of the genre is either Event Horizon or The Shining. They're both slower and psychological rather than jump scares and gore-porn.

But as for a list of good ones to watch As Above, So Below The Blair Witch Proejct Blair Witch (2016) The Ritual SAW 1 at least i like 2-7 and Jigsaw as well, haven't seen 10, 9 was bad. Cloverfield Jeepers Creepers Bunnyman Fear Street (all three parts are great) IT Chapter 1 and 2 28 Days Later 28 Weeks Later Frankenstein's Army Im sure there are more im missing but its hard to think of a list off the top of my head.

“the mist” is a horror movie based off a steven king novel, there’s no jumpscares but it’s unbelievably jarring and psychologically unnerving

You guys actually were spot on about game difficulty and stuff these days. I grew up playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon which are insanely hard, and these days most games are just piss easy so that dumb TikTok kids can play whatever. It actually kinda sucks and it makes me sound like a boomer, but it is a very clear trend in games generally

The thing about a horror movie is you wanna put yourself in the right space, both physical and mental. So, late at night in a dark, quiet house. Not middle of the day with birds chirping and some guy mowing his lawn. Mental in the way that you want to be in the mood to be scared, or to care about the fate of the people in the movie. Like, when you're playing a game and you have to make a choice and you're like "I think this is what this character would canonically say or do", so think of horror movies like role-playing. Coerce your brain into feeling the tension of the scene. The shining is a classic. The conjuring is a very good horror movie but not all that scary tbh. But if you put yourself in the mindset of the characters and try to feel their horror, I think you'd get more out of it. That being said, I'm not much of a horror movie guy myself, so like, what tf do I know? Lol
