@@anai.7889 Agreed but I do think it was a good attempt! If you couldn't tell, someone behind the scenes on their stream software was actually editing the boards live, which I know is a lot harder to do than it might seem.
It wasn’t actually editing. One of QT’s mod’s was doing it while the stream was live and I think he just couldn’t see their boards perfectly which made it harder than expected.

Cinna had already mentioned that she had met some of the girls on the board that QT thought she didn't know in the previous round. Poki was one of the only ones she didnt name. So Poki was a very easy guess after that question and based on who was left on the board.

There's a long history to the subject. In the early years of America( and other countries to an extent) Whiteness was exclusively for WASPs. Obviously Italians and the Irish were not WASPs and therefore were put in an "other" category. In the early years of Italian immigration lynchings were fairly common and these groups were prohibited from certain establishments or from being hired for certain jobs. Italians were treated as dirty thugs and lesser people up until about the 1950s. By that point it wasn't as easy to identify a 3rd/4th gen Italian American from other Americans and the Civil rights movement gave the Racists a more pressing target. Some Italians still hold on to the discrimination and therefore feel that they aren't "white".
ethnic and racial debates surrounding italians (north vs south) is not a new concept even from italians. There's a lot of history of prejudice between northern and southern italians as well. You can google it, there's plenty to understand that it's not an "american mind" thing.

I see you've failed your high school's American History class, particularly the chapter about discriminations against Italian immigrants. It's the reason why many Italians hate the "Whites" label even today, long after the U.S government begrudgingly removed them from the "Others" category.
It’s mostly some Italian-Americans who think that because Italians (and the Irish) were generally not considered to be ethnically white in the US prior to roughly the 1950s due to not being Anglo-Saxon Protestants. Even though that isn’t the case anymore, some like to hold on to it. I think QT either misspoke and meant “aren’t white” instead of “white” or she was making a joke.

Did you fell asleep in your American History class back in High School? Particularly the chapter on discrimination against Italian and Irish immigrants? They were classified as non-whites for DECADES by the American government because they are deemed "lesser" than other Europeans, and thus many Italians despise being called "white" now.
