I can see the two brothers, hundreds of generations back, who are just like you and built that game to play it together. I'm fascinated by how history always repeats itself and humans never really change
For the ones that don't get it, it's like ludo *but* you can't skip over enemy pieces and the dice can give you a number between 0 and 4 for your turn.
Can i just say how good that editing is? Its not too fast paced to make it hectic like so many videos today, but it was never once too long or boring. I can see how much work that took, and it even had diffrent camera angles. Appreciated it very much, good editing is so rare to see nowadays. Also that "zwei" and "ich bin stupid" caugth my german ass off guard, incredible pronounciation rigth there
This is the best channel ever. I swear their quality is just from another dimension. These videos should be played in schools. Wawa and wuwa are my new parental figures, wewas are my siblings now.
I watched this video twice to see if I actually got the rules of this game and going through the "trash talk" part at around 4:25 was much funnier the second time. Hahaha
I saw the video of Irving Finkel and Tom Scott playing this game years ago and I had the same reaction! It looks so cool! such a fun game! great video guys! ❤
You guys rock haha. I love this game! I play it w/ my family after watching that bbc video about it! Also your tapestry that your putting the game on is beautiful.
Bro, Georgia is so freaking beautiful. There were a lot of lore drops in this video that I think were pretty awesome, but you guys living in Georgia was frankly unexpected.
I found your video because I saw that Irving Finkel Tom Scott video as well. I have the exact same thought as you. I need this in my life! The board you made was very beautiful! Please make that Senet board!!! I would be interested to see you make the tutankhamun version!
Other cool ancient games you could try making include!!! Hnefatafl, a Viking board game similar to chess where the goal is to pin your opponent's king piece using a team of rooks Do Shou Qui ("Jungle animal fighting game"), a game where you have 8 different animals ranging from a mouse to an elephant where each one can kill the one smaller than it, but the mouse can kill the elephant Hare and Hounds, a game where one player plays three hounds that can only advance forwards, trying to pin the other player's single rabbit who can move in any direction
