I actually like how you removed the upper control arm bolts from the top mount to remove your front suspension vs removing the pinch bolts. Removing the pinch bolts is a real pain in the behing.
Haha I’m actually in Madison but the roads are still pretty shitastic. Luckily I only drive it in the warm seasons, aside from making this video of course
Mmm that tucked fitment doe. Yo, thats awesome your cool with the Clean Culture Wisconsin guys. Make me wonder if there is a group here in GA. Totally jelly bro gratz on the new Airlift Kit!
I like the way it looks. I know the engine is different, plus I'm sure other things, but the body style of the 2011Audi A4 is very similar to the body style/shape of my 2016 VW Jetta GLI, the rear lights, the daytime running lights. My friend did say that the gli was a poor man's A4. I'm ok with that. Anyhow, I really like your car man, nice job.
nice job. I just bought my 3p kit. struts r getting made. (kia rio5) I have a friend who can do this install but I think imma take it to a pro who does bag installs for a living. I cant handle shit going wrong with installs
Looks awesome man!! Hey, how would you describe the difference in comfort level, obviously when driving shitty city roads.. and what shocks would you use? i’d like to do this, but trying to make my car more comfortable than these coilovers in it now.
They’re not too bad, but still pretty stiff. They do have adjustable dampening but I haven’t had the need to change it since I tend to prefer cars with a stiffer ride, but it’s not unbearable for non-car people. I had ST coilovers before this, and they were honestly more comfortable of a ride. As far as shocks, I reused the rear ST shocks.
Quick question, my tank holds 150 psi I’m also on the B8 platform w the A5 just wondering if that’s what it should be? I’ve seen some people controllers read like 180 psi
I think it more depends on your personal preference. I just set mine to 150 cause that's how David helped me set it up. I guess the higher the pressure you hold in the tank, the higher likelihood it'll start to leak
