So the crossing button thing, it doesnt alter the timing of the lights except on one way streets where pressing the button changes the light colour within like 10 seconds, whereas actual real roads are on a lights schedule, and the buttons are for either visually or hearing impaired people too show through sounds and images that its safe to cross.
