With the win $s from Cash Days, I think the best investment you and Tommy could do is invest in two HANS devices. You men are making your living racing... I think the couple thousand spent here could be a lifesaver. The Nova is going to go into a new time zone, and you are constantly refining the other two. Just like the converter bolts... stuff just happens, even with the best maintenance.
Not trying to be funny or anything. Im nee to the whole street car/ race car theme. Ive been around street bikes my whole life. But what is a HANS device that you mentioned would be a good investment. Curious as to what HANS device is.? Thanks
Congratulations Billy Drag illustrated doing an article on you that is awesome brother keep up the amazing amazing racing and work that you were doing with these cars you and your brother and family are amazing
I have to say Allison did a fantastic job taking so many awesome photos and videos and Tommy did an excellent job editing it and making it all flow together. Congrats again Billy on the big win.
Top notch efforts all round. Great to see Tony bangin' the shifter again & Billy's S10 holding its own. In time he'll squeeze a little more out of it, I have no doubt. Seriously impressive throughout !!!
I don't wanna hear another team member say nothing about Billy's S10. I've heard it called ragged, and a pos..... But it keep winning, it's pretty damn reliable too..
After he gets that mustang sorted out you all should travel to Cali with him and get some races with some of the current Izzy cars. That would be neat to see
AV Boys man haven’t raced them since the late 90s early 2000 time when racing in the valley was fun or after a Palmdale event still have my shop Earls automotive been cool to see them again cool video 👍👍
To Billy Tommy Allison and Tony. I am so proud of you all with the racing and the videos, and pictures you guys do. I am also a BUCKEYE. I have sent friends request to all of you and I know you are busy and all but I wish you guys would accept my requests. I can't get BILL to do it either. I enjoy watching it makes me wish I was there. Tommy your car is BAD ASS. Allison your car will make the boys jealous when it is finished. And to Billy I think you should do a insight showing of the engine in the nova since it is complete. I love talking to VICKY AND ROB. Your uncle is a nice guy to talk to. GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL IN THE FUTURE RACES. I PRAY 🙏 TOMMYS CAR GETS FIXED. LOVE DAYTON OHIO
Check your alternator drive ratio on the FALCON; if an alternator exceeds roughly 16-18,000-rpm it can drop voltage from the brushes bouncing. Generally speaking if your crank pully diameter is any bigger than 2X the alternator pully's diameter you're getting very close to the danger zone for brush bounce just prior to the shift (given your running the engine to 7200-rpm like I've seen in your "in-car" videos.....This may not be the full reasoning / cause of your issues, but it could be if your alternator is worn / has a diode out, and will last longer / charge better down track if it's running at a more efficient speed range......the same could be said for Billy's truck, with it's 18V system, a lot of higher amp-output / voltage alternators have lower max RPM limits before brush-float can begin to occur (something to watch out for if you see voltage issues).
@@graykhakiwagon1662 Brandon can be a bit of a smart-ass, so Limpy flips him shit. Brandon's a good guy though. Love hate relationship between them I suppose.
Tommy stated the truck dont want to be retired to the bench. No The Truck wants to go out ON TOP. Like Many Champions Do. Congrats to the SRC Family. BTK and T2G keep on keepin' on. Thanks for Excellent Content...
The s10 sure let you know it's not done winning...finally put that guy on the trailer...your reaction was priceless...so happy for you and the team and family...best entertainment anywhere....congrats on everything...stay ready,so ya don't have to get ready...
Great job everyone. Completing with 3 cars and tuning and driving is no small thing. Your family with all hands on deck sure helps. Filming and interviews were awesome with all the strategies too.👍
Tony definitely knows how to drive a stick shift car. Thats as fast as I've ever seen that Mustang go since it was put together here in Ohio. Tony and Tess would love living in Ohio, Well till the winter. LoL.
Tommy don't cut yourself short you have the ability to learn Billy can teach you how to tune. Well done gang you to Tony congrats to all of you keep up the awesome content and looking forward to seeing your next video and as always be safe 👍
I live in north central Ohio, like 15 minutes from Norwalk so I usually race there or I race a lot at Dragway 42. We race motorcycles too, but this track looks so wild, Iv always wanted to make a hit there. Congratulations man to you and your whole crew
Great advice from A V Boys. Great job with the S-10. Falcon getting tired? Tommy seems to be picking up on set ups and tune. You both are awesome drivers. Redy to see Allisons return.
Hell yeah the s10 rocks on! The nova is coming on quick. Great job. I see Bill back to riding coat tails. Another blow out brewing imo. It was great seeing the channels with all their own original contents. Keep up the hustle!!
Great work all. Perfect timing with the video drop. Just got home from picking up my new Vickers Battleaxe from my semi local R&L warehouse!! On the 1st anniversary of my crash last year even. Pretty damm good day i'd say! Big thanks to Vickers performance transmissions!!
Another top notch video guys Tommy Allison and the rest of the gang are doing a hell of a job on footage. Great to see src and friends take home 3 class wins in cars built by Billy 👍
Eventually yes but they got alot going on as it is and the falcon is faster than Tommy's s10 will be anytime soon and the Nova needs to be dialed in plus the issues with flexplate and converter they gotta fix on the truck before next race tomorrow/Saturday .. I'm hoping this off-season they can get to that like he did with the Nova but only time will tell..
- Need the Haltech VMU put on the S10 to really take it up another notch - The Falcon needs a hotter engine, maybe some new Forced Inductions snails ...with those two on solid ground, and the Nova needing reps, that would hopefully give them less work for the cars getting raced and more time to focus on Tommy's dime. Of course, it's easy to spend someone else's time, money, & effort for them without knowing any of their circumstances lol
Tommy convince Tony to let you put a in car camera inside with him I bet it looks like he's trying to jerk that gear shifter and transmission up through the floorboard when he grabs second gear!! 😆 GREAT JOB TO YOU ALL👍
Even though Billy mopped the floor with that jeep… It must be a pretty damn rare TrackHawk to have a tailgate! 😂…. Could’ve swore those had a “Hatch”! 🐣🤔🤨🤣
2 Guns quit letting yourself down you're killing me buddy you're a badass I'm so glad The Stang is still close to the family that's awesome Allison you're killing it
Congrats on some awesome racing you guys are killing it love the video god bless you all and what made molly sale her car and the old S10 was on a mission this weekend lol love it
Hoskinson Family, Big Payouts... Fri and Sat. Indy Street Car Takeover. The Search and Rescue K-9's and I will be there, and ole Cleeter is bringing 3 cars from Bradenton. It would be out of this world to see my two favorite race Team's at one event ! Aloha...\ooo/
They won't take a call out from someone they may get beat by. But will call out there buddy in the grocery getter to get a test pass for first round in the past.
Billy, in the tailgate semi’s (around 16:37) did you stay in it past the stripe or is that just a camera angle thing? Looked like you were running out of shutdown area quickly!
That was some killer racing there guys congratulations on the wins, and it’s nice seeing the mustang back out in action. Great video too guy’s doing a awesome job, keep up the good work.
that early 90s pro-stock chevy Beretta looks wicked..reminds me of one that used to run up here driven by a guy from the lower mainland are of BC Canada....his car had a cool 90s pain job with pink and purple stripes on a white car..lol moss them days when drag racing was still a thing in the smaller towns here...now I gotta drive at least 3 hours to see 1/4mile racing and the nearest 1/8 mile track is a little over 2 hours away haha
Gotta love the fact that Billy still chooses to shift the Nova himself instead of setting up a air shifter like the falcon, (no hate t2g) and probably every other car out there. "The Kid" can drive.💪💯🔥
Love seeing the Truck back in the winners circle! Wondering if you keep up with Jeff Lutz? His new 57 has leafs in the rear as well but they added an old school slider system to them, not sure how it works tbh but Lutz seems to think its a good addition to a 2k HP car, wondering if it might be useful to you guys as well.
@@scottjarrells8339 So helps traction I'm guessing? Or could? I admit to being out of my depth here. Done some driving but never have been the sharpest mechanic, lol. If ya haven't seen it, the build on that 57 of Lutz's is worth the view, the frame of it is a frikkin work of art.
Why would you even compare a Jeff Lutz car .He is getting payed from 3 TV shows for how long.Billy and his family are doing this with a lot less money and look what he is doing at his age .Bet you are a JJ da ass clown fan
Just look at the 'Tooth Jerker' Dodge Dart(1/8th mile lead spring record holder) for the current standard in drag racing leaf setups. Pretty basic to build a leaf suspension that can work as well as a Fox 4-link to be honest, you just gotta know how to set them up(Kevin Wilson has great content on this).
