0:34 this matters a whole lot more than he thought! there's a hidden aim assist mechanic in peggle that subtly guides new players into hitting better shots. its dubbed "micro zen" by the community due to its similarity to master hu's zen ability. it starts INCREDIBLY strong at the very beginning, and as you progress further through the game it wears off little by little. so if you're using an existing profile in the race, you could be at a massive disadvantage since you lack the powerful aim assist given to new players.

You genuinely made me think that clicking on it for the rabbit's power would more often give you the one you wanted. I had to open Peggle and check myself to make SURE, I was losing my MIND. I was asking myself as I click on magic hat getting it three times in a row "No way, this is real? It ACTUALLY just gives you it if you click on it??". I proceeded to not get a single magic hat after that. It's not real. I've been fooled. I will never recover.

Peggle is unironically my favorite game of all time, and I hope more people get into playing it from this. I recently set a new pb of 1 hour 37 minutes and I recommend anyone who has an interest in playing the game fast to try speedrunning it. its an absolute blast (especially if you have a very long playlist of music to go with it)

I love that game it was my first console videogame I think back on my Xbox 360. I played through all of it and the dlc as a kid. It is just as fun today as it was back then.

Peggle is the kind of game where a random baseball minigame actually seems believable. Just say the pitcher is a gnome or something and it seems 100% in line with the rest of the game
