Would've been more interesting if they didn't know what the opponent had and just got to blindly ban types, or maybe better, the types they picked for themselves were banned for the opponent.
@@alamand4769yeah blindly banning types would be much better. Because since they choose what type each mon represents, Tobin might ban fighting but let him keep his ghost type, but the ghost type could secretly be a annihilape
@liluziintrovert but only if you have another fighting type to ban. For fairness, you have to announce which Pokemon was just discarded, but not who's staying. I like.
This is way too OP for the winner, you shouldnt have been able to see all his pokemon. The winner should be given the list of types he caught, and you need to pick and choose from there. Just banning anything and everything strong you want is way too broken
I agree. Give the opponent everything weak to ground and run EQ on everyone. Plus can prep for all the other mons not weak to ground. Plus on top of that picking the 6 worse mons. To be fair however Tobian was quicker and luckier catching plus wasn’t wasting time on legends.
@@thycactuskingi disagree, i thought it was hilarious. Not every video has to be some perfectly balanced match. Sometimes its fun to watch one guy have the odds stacked against him....remember the video pat did with vinny where they got perks if the mon was declared guilty? Vinny got screwed over by the chat and still won, which made it even better. But sometimes your unlucky.
I think a better way of banning half the mons would be the loser splits their mons into two groups and the winner bans one group. That way, the loser can still maintain SOME good mons by dividing their good mons evenly among the two groups.
Not sure about this. I feel the punishment is a bit too harsh. Maybe if it was like 2 or 3 banned mons. Half of what was caught just allows the other to remove and semblance of competition.
@@SomeDonkus1212 I never said they aren't allowed to make videos they want to. Nor did I ever say this wasn't fun and creative. It's called constructive criticism and the aim is to help people improve.
*Shakes head.* I don't dislike the concept of race videos, but I prefer the ones that go round by round. I'm not fond of the penalty systems in the first place, but I prefer if they're counterbalanced with rewards or benefits as well, like having them randomly chosen on a wheel. Overall...no. Just, no. If it gets to the point where the only way it will make for a good battle is if the underdog wins, it's usually not good. ...all of that said, more importantly: hope you feel better soon, Tobin.
Kinda unfair this time...if youre gonna ban it shoudove been after he selected the 6 so he only had to have 3 replacement pokemon...not a whimsicott and arbok vs strong af attacks
Hey Tobin. Love the idea!! But if I may try to improve it how about you make 6 groups of 3. Race 6 times to catch the typing of the 3 from that group. Winner chooses what type they want and gives the loser whichever 2 remains! Hope it makes sense
Next time you should let the winner choose any single pokemon that opponent caught to use for themselves with any ability, and nerf any single one of the opponents mons remaining
This was legit a 1 sided curbstomp, even if its for fun and games you need to balance it better to at least give your opponent a chance to fight back, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't wanna do another one of these videos
I was super bored by this video. The first one i stopped watching before the battle even began. Wayyy too much of an advantage, there was no point in watching the battle because the obvious winner was Tobin.
Tried to change things up and make a fun different videos than doing a starter video again. Was really happy with this one but y’all def think differently. My bad.
The non-starter part was great! Just the punishment was a bit too much. I'd love to see the same video just as someone said with maybe banning a type rather than seeing the team and picking a particular mon. Keep up the great work though!!
It looks like you’re taking this straight to heart. Just accept the criticisms that people are raising towards specifically the punishment and unfairness of the battle, and keep the general premise. That’s all people don’t like, the premise is good but the execution not so much.
Maybe instead of deleting comments take some accountability and realize this is shit. It happens dude and in your vids you act like this often. Stop being a pussy and make some good content.
I really like this idea, I just think pretty much choosing his team for him made the battle a little less enjoyable. Maybe next time the type you each ban types without knowing so it's a little more fair and enjoyable
Would this concept work better if when the winner bans, they banned types rather than Pokémon? So instead of banning kyoger, the winner banned water type and neither player could use water.
Instead of doing the banning thing, you should make it where.if you catch a dual type it counts for both and you csnt repeat either type. Could do 18 mono types or 9 dual types.
Um, actually there are 19 types now since Indigo Disk, even though there are no pokemon of Stellar type... Oh, wait... this is not Dropout... Sorry... xD
I like the concept, but it could be a bit better. I think it would be better if the winner can't see the loosers' pokemon or if the looser could still catch their remaining types
@@ShortTempered When it shows a battle with one of the mons picked and one that was banned, that is kinda uncool though. I thought we see Hydrapple just to be disappointed.
Everyone talking about how banning everything they want is op, but the other person can just waste all their time on 6 legends and no mons will be banned
