Seriously though thank you all for submitting your cars and we're sorry we couldn't put everyone in this video! Where do you think your car would fall on the list?
Montrucky definitely took its naming inspiration from the Montucky Cold Snack, a well-known and much beloved brew amongst the dirtbags in the region. Its even got the montucky cold snack paint job. it certainly looks like it manages to get around in those snow-filled Montana mountains, it might not be for the cities but out here makes for a pretty sweet and useful ride
I actually saw Freddy's car when I hit port in Yokosuka, Japan last August when I was deployed on the USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). It had gold TE37's on it when I saw it. Car is unreal in person, mad respect for the entire build!
I think "it's got soul" is like the corolla my buddy loved and named and was torn about when it got into an accident or the Dodge 2500 my grandmother owned and broke our hearts when it got into an accident we lost her to cancer so it hit pretty harshly
I had a '72 and '73 Mustang back in the late 80s when I was in high school. They were still recent enough to fix up and pretty much restore to 'good' condition. Both were daily drivers and were driven in some of the best times of my teen years. My buddies still recount stories about the cars and things we did... they always include the cars in the story! Makes me smile.
Drew Peralta's my highschool classmate. He's lowkey rich af but he's a very humble and very kind guy. That's why when i saw Tubero in the thumbnail i instantly clicked the video
It's located in Ottawa, Ontario. Believe it or not there is a WHITE one here too with a 2JZ single turbo, they both roll up to the meets together. The white one purposely tries to look like a ricer but they put serious power down.
lol yeah try posting a slammed bug on a classic bug facebook group. There's even a separate FB group for those who loved to "ruin" their old aircooled VWs, and made fun of those purists hahaha.
I like how you guys have got this quirky adult swim like editing style and feeling going on with this show, I am not really a car guy but I find these videos quite interesting and entertaining, keep up the good work 👍
@@Its_Me_Romano Many manufacturers have their wheels developed by aftermarket companies. Like the stock wheels on your impreza sti's are from BBS and the oem wheels on some Hondas were made my Enkei. So just think of it has your putting THAT company's wheel on your car; not the other car manufacturer's wheel.
In Japan, if someone "door dings" your car, they will leave their information. I have personally seen insurance claims for a big door ding. At least that is how it was in the 90s. Sadly on-base parking is not as safe as off-base.
That improv James did with Montrucky was so like when he did Up To Speed, can’t wait for that show to come back. Edit: holy shit! He did a "mo powa babeh!!"
Hi-Low is gonna be Tacoma’s that your either gonna off-road in Mexico or drift or street race( 🌮)? Edit: (prediction) Two hi-low Tacoma’s will go to Mexico (or somewhere near the border) and off-road
@9:17 Its a play on Montucky Cold Snacks, a delicious cheap beer that's popular in Montana. The cans have a similar design with a silouette of a mountain backed by sunset hues
That 928 is actually insane. My Pops owned a 928 in the 90's and I always though "what could they do to make this car look good?". I guess I finally found my answer.
I fully relate to the s15 owner, I was stationed in Japan for 2 years and while there, I owned a R33, my heart was broken in half when I got orders to come back stateside and had to sell it.
@@gearbanginentertainment7476 I hear ya, but a sponsored part does not negate the items price. If someone sends in a $5k supercharger kit, that doesn't mean it didn't cost $5k. It just eases the burden of Donut to make the project happen. If we send $200 wheels for low car, then that's what that cost was
God, I loved how you approached this, James. You guys will bust each other's nuts, as you should but you really set up a positive outlook with this and the viewers. #respect
8:20 kinda ironic how the Car is Nicknamed “Harlequin” when the colour scheme is very similar to the Harlequins Rugby team’s Uniforms. I wonder if there’s a connection…
This channel actually helped me get into working on vehicles. Not really with making them freaky fast and deafening loud, but with making sure they run the way they should. I drove my first vehicle into the dirt. I was starting to do the same with my second/current vehicle, but this channel helped me realize how much fun there is in just working on a vehicle and how, sometimes, it can help clear my mind.
Nolan should make a wheelhouse talking about the history and popularity of patina. I don’t rest understand why people like but it would be a cool episofe
6:41 The car itself isnt just expensive, car registration and tax is also very very high in the Philippines. Whoever owns that Porsche is one really rich and lucky dude.
“I’ve got a sucky hose….” Soda came out of my nose and I couldn’t breathe for what seemed like an eternity. I began to panic and thought if I was going to die in a stupid way, at least it would be because such an epic joke! Thx Nolan!
If all of you guys at Donut just sat across from each other like Sports Center and reviewed this 4000+ car list that would be an awesome series to bring you all on 1 series
I kept getting him in recommended and despised his videos and kept pushing hide until it got thrown off my recommended altogether Not all car guys are built the same and I'm glad youtube finally realized that after a while I like Bladed angel though he just says "fxck it, do whatever you want! its YOUR car" as he dailies and dents his vette lmao
James is so right about the VW community. I drive a 2016 VW Golf TSi 1.8t. I was driving down the highway and a dude in a Mk7 Golf R drives by me with his window down hyping me up and giving me thumbs up. It was so awesome. VW drivers love all VWs.
I love the yellow line that's on the bottom of the screen when they do advertising.but honestly they put alot of work into them and they're pretty entertaining and I watch them most the time
