When my 11-year-old daughter was a baby, we talked to her ALL OF THE TIME! I would take walks with her in her stroller or wear her as you do and I would always talk to her about what I was doing. We taught her baby sign as well. Now as a tween, she never stops talking!!! :) Have fun!

I remember when my daughter was really young. I would take her to the grocery store and tell her what everything was - this is a can of soup, this is broccoli, these are carrots, etc. She was always ahead of her contemporaries in school for vocabulary! People would look at me very strangely, but I think it paid off!

I have to hold my breath or cover my nose and mouth when moving it around. It is hard on me. The moldy dusty hay. Please be mindful for yourselves and especially your beautiful, innocent, precious, treasure, Sadie. So much we don't know till they let us know as new parents. Been there. next project: upgrading the shower. half height walls, from the knee up, to stop the wind but letting the water run out of the shower and a roof to protect you from the cold. You can do it in one day!

Bathtime. Throw a folded towel in the sink. fill to about 2 inches above the towel. Lay Sadie down. Babies don't need to sit up in the tub until they can sit up. She is slippery when wet, so lay her down. You have a sweet family!

It is going to be SO CUTE to see lil backpack baby, when y'all get comfortable with having her behind you. It is a thousand times easier to do everything once they are on your back! I babywore my kids too. My autistic child was 80# on his dad's back in a custom built carrier. So much safer than him bolting from us. I loved watching her sing along with mom. So cute. Y'all are kicking ass and taking names.

So glad to see you back in Panamá. I never had a bathtub for my daughter. She bathe my daughter, my Colombian friend show me how to base my daughter in the sink, the key is that place a hand towel in the bottom of the sink so the baby doesn't slip, it worked like a charm.

Feeling good today so I picked up where I left off. So happy for your health happy baby and your return to Central America. I lived in the Canal Zone for 5 years in the 60's early 70's on the Atlantic sided. Our beautiful slice of heaven no longer exists but in our memories.

Lucky little Ms. Sadie. I grew up in a similar fashion (I was country when country wasn't cool). Lived off grid, no electricity, with an outhouse, rain cachements (my favorite because my siblings and I got to take a dunk in the rain barrels). We lived off the land gardens and animals. She has the fortune of having two insightful parents raising her with a village of self sustainers. There's just something different (better) about children who grow up this way, more responsible. I’ve heard the baby sign language 🤟 for “more” and other such words important to communicate with Sadie thru certain signs before she begins to talk. Unfortunately, I didn’t do. But have seen and it’s AHMAZING! Uncle Roddie and Uncle Pooh?!?! And Ellyanna are so loving 🥰 with Sadie too! Makes my heart ♥️ so happy 😁 for you all. AND JORDAN, I love your hair!!! Baby hats for Sadie is a must! Here in Australia children in kindergarten & primary school it’s compulsory to wear hats to avoid cancers at a later stage in life. The research is positive in regards to this; plus the earlier the better as Sadie will get used to it quicker

I have a green house. Those extra flanges for the shelf, don't cut them off. Drill a hole in them, and hang baskets. It will give you just a little more growing space. They are useful for plants that like culinary herbs that you don't need big spaces for, such as basil.

You should do the bottom of the garden bed filled with branches and leaves and just leave about 5-6” above the layer of hay placed over the wood.. you don’t need all that dirt.. roots only go down a few inches. Plant the garden in the dirt on top and as the wood breaks down under the flowers it produces fertilizer under the dirt.

We have gardened for many years. . it is a work learn and grow. 25 years later things will still surprise me.

I'm bilingual English/Spanish. I have 4 now adult children that were raised in Latin America..two were born in Mexico. You will not need to teach Sadie Spanish. She will learn both simultaneously.bYou should speak English with her and have all her Spanish speaking friends speak Spanish... then she'll learn the best of both. If her Ngobe uncle's want to speak their dialect also she can pick that up as well. There was a short period when my toddlers mixed the languages, but at some point around 3yrs they understood it was two languages and separated the two. My only suggestion is to teach her to read and write in English first... Spanish is phonetic and easier and learning it first makes learning to read and especially spell in English harder. I learned this with my own kids. My children are fully bilingual..speak like natives in both languages.

The distance wind travels unimpeded by something to block it is called fetch. In town the fetch is broken up by hills and buildings. The side of your mountain has a large fetch in front of it. That's why the wind feels different.

He was diagnosed at age 5 and given 6 months to live. Good news….even though he is not cancer free, he is 23 years old now! 4 days ago the storms have started here in the NW Oregon area. We have been clocked so far with 90 mph wind ,that was like 2 days ago. I have gotten to understand that a wind can come into anywhere... 3 days ago the 20X30 Tarp blew off the motorhome roof that has been being Renovated since later 2019,still more to complete, and I, my 17 yr old grandson are out tackling 30 mph gusts, the tarp with I kneeling on top of the Roof Of The Freekin motorhome. Fastening the tarp back onto all sides. I needed to keep everything dry until the final sealing is complete to the roof... just say guys good luck with all the up coming storms. The Wooley Worms Are the brightest Yellow this year 💛... 😉 😜 😘 😉

Also I was SO happy to see you had the baby noise cancelling headphones on her around the electronic music. I cringe when I see parents here in Perth take babies as young as Sadie and dance near a massive speaker with their babies when live bands are playing. Both my son and I have hearing issues from working in bands so it is so important to protect their hearing for as long as possible as their ears are even more sensitive than ours.Well done guys I just love you like you're my own kids!!

Gardening tip….putting straw on the bottom of the bed can cause the nitrogen to be drawn down from the top to the bottom of the bed. So plant nitrogen fixers initially and keep an eye out for nutrient deficiencies. Coffee grounds are a great source of nitrogen for plants BTW.
