Seems a shame to throw away a slant 6 engine. They were just about indestructible.

I overland in a 2wd van … I do it all with a cooler a gas stove a 5gln bucket 😉. And some extra water. It’s all removable, replaceable and easy to deal with on the trail .

Paint suggestion !!! paint/wrap it to look like a "covered wagon", Seeing a "covered Wagon" 4 wheelin' around the dunes, rocks would be cool...😆😆😆

Shawn was a piece this shop needed that becomes more visible as he gets more comfortable. He's like an instruction manual, you may not always use it, but it's a real good thing they're there to show you the way.

Colton and Hillbilly did Fine in their video. Some kids people just have a hair knotted and stuck where they're talking from. It's easy to be a Jerk,but Better to be nice.Try thinking that way for a change.

Love watching you guys. You all work so hard. I don't know how your brains keep going working so many hours. I appreciate you showing the mistakes, how you fix them, imperfect commentary, and your great network of friends. It's great to see real people doing real things and that people are not perfect all the time but are still amazing to watch and listen to. Love all the shop work and trail rescues. Drop down beds. Fold to wall when not in use. Made a enclosed trailer that way for hunting

That blue paint exposed by the grill removal says this is a genuine former US Mail van, IHMO. There's your paint scheme inspiration: white roof and upper body, RL blue lowe body with suitable striping.ii😊 Love your channel.

Recommend some big boat sides on this. Get rid of all that low hanging sheet metal on the sides. This thing is kinda broad, so I think it will help a lot on the trail

I pulled the slant 6 out of my grandmother’s car with 85,000 miles on it, put it in another car, and it was still running great when I sold that car with 235,000 on the slant 6. Great engine!

If you truly read all your comments, I really recommend using a diesel heater. They’re affordable and real easy to set up and it will keep it more than warm enough inside of there are use one in a 40 foot motorhome that I live full-time in and it keeps up plenty warm in here

As an idea to to more for your build, find a truck driver that has a studio sleeper on their truck. Those big studio sleepers have a kitchen, beds and a bathroom. It's like a little apartment!! You will get some good ideas from that!!!

It would be nice if you can do a interview with Shane. Some background, and what he thinks of the new job, and the oddities of wish he’s working on.

You should totally try to install some tip outs for some beds, they make ones you can add for things like cargo trailers and vans. Or buy a salvage camper from Copart, that’s a great source for camper parts.

I had that same pie truck that was made into a camper, that, I believe is a 271 slant six, VERY wanted in the slant six world!

Hey team ,a friendly suggestion,to have a wheeled mini skip(dumpster)that you can have beside these tear apart projects,so the rubbish goes straight into the bin ,not double handled and making a mess in the workshop! Some tie downs on vehicle lifts might be a good idea (safety first ). Nothing like a tidy workshop aye ? having room to move is important! Any updates on the Jeep,the Limo,and any other projects? Baby Boss is going to Rule the Roost,she will keep you in your toes .

You should think about putting the American flag on all your shirts and pullovers like your 4th shirts are. I know cost would factor into it but to me I think it shows pride and class. I'm a late 50's guy that likes your videos and reminds me of the things (some crazy) that I did when I was younger

Couple of things:first, I'm glad to see the boss taking a more hands on role,this adds to the show Second,don't be too hasty to get rid of that inline slant 6 engine. That is probably the most reliable and durable engines ever built bar none

Main thing that will be of consideration on the Van is its Height it will tip over easy dont ideal for crawling..!
