Hi there! I am not sure who gave you advise on starting a resort business, but Resort Business falls under Hospitality Industry and it can be owned 100% by foreigners but yes the problem is owning property. there are ways, legal ways to doing this. Drop me a message. I assure you my consult will just cost you one lunch :D we can meet at BGC at your convenience.
@@livethephilippines try Negros Occidental here in the Visayas. Got a nice spot in Sipalay, beachfront with enclave coastline view, diving spot, old port area. Message for interest, our consulting includes property development and project management. Best is we are here in Bacolod City.
You're main problem with that idea would be the Filipino law that bans foreigners from buying land in the Philippines. This law was made to ensure that wealthy foreigners won't buy all the land in the country, ensuring that future generations of Filipinos can buy these lands which are reserve only for Filipino citizens
Don't just trust to anybody in Phil's, investigate about their background first if your partnering to anybody... Praying you don't get robbed 🙏🏻 Good luck ❤
Watching from France, happy to know that there are still good people with good hearts that exist. Thank you so much for liking my country, Philippines 😊❤😊
Wow thank you for choosing #Philippines to put up your own company it's truly amazing and will have a huge help to give #Filipino employment opportunities
For that, the top recommended places to put up the business in would be El Nido, Coron, Nacpan, San Vicente, Palawan, Bohol, Siquijor, Siargao, Bantayan Island, Cebu or even south of Cebu, Camiguin near the white Beach Island, Laguna, Mindoro, Puerto Princesa, Boracay. These are the places that will explode or has a huge potential for more tourists in the future Whether you want a nice and quiet kind of resort or a touristy, in demand place for vacationers, you can check those places. he best of luck in finding the right spot for you guys.
San Vicente Palawan is the future center of tourism. Megaworld is developing over 400 hectares of luxury township there. 🎉 And also one in Batangas. Clark, Pampanga is another one to look out for. 🎉
I love your idea on your plans on what to do with your resort. The biggest and main thing you want to consider is flooding and how to accommodate when typhoons arrive.
It's good to hear you like to invest in the Philippines. location-wise yes, you are correct on your analysis. But who will manage the resort? There are several things you need to consider. - legit land broker - ldocumentation and taxes - good local contractors - for operations like local marketing and sales operations and resort admin operations i can help you too. Where I can send my cv though?
That would be VERY COOL. Your Very Much Welcome. Hey Guys (Fellow Filipinos) In Case This Push through PLEASE SUPPORT THEM. Inquire with Dept. of Trade & Industry as to your intentions, they will be willing to assist you. Good Luck & God Speed.
@@JakeOng-p5m No. As long as they cant own land. It makes me wonder who is the filipino who owns 60% of their company. They cannot buy anything if they own 100% of the company as theyre foreigners.
@@JakeOng-p5m Crab mentality? So being a law abiding citizen is crab mentality? Or is it crab mentality that you want foreigners to thrive but not your own countrymen? That's why you have problems with Alice Guo. Lol. You like foreigners too much that you are willing to give your country away.
This is a great idea guys and it’s nice you decided to do it in our country. I know this will go through a long process but w/ the support and ideas of different people who will guide you both it will come through. All the best in your future plans.
Have you heard of Kookoo's Nest? Its owned by a British couple, they built the cottages out of bamboos. Its by the beach in a private island. They got interviewed by a pinay vlogger named Filipina Pea, i think the thumbnail of that vlog is " Building your own beach resort in the Phillipines.
Most excited about colt's idea, would be cool to have a colt in the wild experience here in the Ph. Great support system as well, best of luck to the kid! For Brooklyn, she can have a cat area on the property as well. Recommending to bring her to cat cafes here in the PH.
I'm only on the first 4 minutes of the video and I'm excited for you guys... I wish you success with this project. I am so glad you like the Philippines; it is exciting. So I am looking forward to seeing "Vlogger's Paradise Resort" pop up somewhere... best of luck and may God bless your family and help you make your dream a reality...
So excited for you guys! Check out Samal Island down south. I currently live in Portland, Oregon, but I grew up on the island and miss it so much. It has a bit of everything and is only about a 15-minute ferry ride from Davao City, and vice versa.
@@livethephilippines samal island is my dream snow birding retirement. I really love to live by the beach ⛱. I can never enjoy the ocean here in Canada, the water is freezing cold even during the hot summer
Yay! So happy for you guys! Thank you for choosing the Philippines. I can’t wait to visit your resort here in the PH. Welcome home, welcome back to the Philippines. 🤗🇵🇭❤
@@livethephilippines Don't forget about me. I'm a vet too. US Marine Corps 80-84. I'm also Filipino. Do I get double discount? I'm promoting you guys. :)
Yes it's good to have that kind of business in the Philippines, stay safe and good luck, Bobby from QC Philippines, watching this vlog from Las Vegas NV.
Yeah! I love Boutique resorts- feels like home but you're away from home. I prefer a homey atmosphere than the look of a hotel...go for it guys....I love that idea!!!
I think the Philippine economy is growing at 6% + every year it's a good idea to invest. I just have a small lot (750 sqm) on the beach with white sand. In the future i wanna build a rest house when i get old and live there so that i can always see the ocean until i die.
How exciting! Excited to follow your journey along to open your first resort and of course, we will have to come stay in it when we come back to the Philippines :)
A lot of filipino actors are known business owners. Some admit it but if you think about it they are just front of the majority owners. I think it works both ways.
You guys are really just plain good people. I have been following your vlog but first time to make a comment. I'm just so jealous on what you have done to your family. Such a wonderful kids. These kids will survive anywhere. They will be tooled with right characters as they grow up. Both of you are just good parents. I never wanted to leave my country. I'm a Filipino-American and was quite lucky to be hired by BOEING in the '70s direct from the Philippines. I still like the USA but it had changed a lot. Anyway you guys enjoy life and I know you are. Filipinos like me loved Americans so much because you guys have done so much to our country right after the WWII. Thank you for all the the thing you have afforded to our country most specially the English language and education. My first grade teacher was an American ex-marine in the Philippine. Love you guys, Ernie De Ocampo Houston Texas
Design, build, and manage a boutique resort(s) in the Philippines is an amazing idea! May I suggest that you can combine the best of the Philippines and the U.S. For example, you can have a resto(s) in the resort that offers both really good adobo and lechon dishes, but at the same time great burgers and fries. The best of luck to you guys!! ❤❤❤❤
This is exciting news! For starters, I would suggest that you let your viewers know approximately what size land you will need for your vision. This will immediately narrow down your search and a much more efficient use of your time as well as any potential land owners out there. Good luck!
Wow.... Congratulations guys. I am super duper surprised. Can't wait to see it soon. Hopefully, its somewhere in either Luzon, Visayas or Mindanao. Btw, the merch is super super cool. Try visiting La Union, Pangasinan and also Baguio City and the Cordilleras, in the coming months of 2025 before the Christmas season is coming...
Great news ABC! Would love to see your plan become a reality and my family would be among your first guests in our yearly visit to the Philippines from California. You will prosper. The indications are there, in your family’s personalities. 😄👍🏻
Lucky Philippines to have this family to have a boutique resort as they know it well what a resort based on there travel experience of the Philippines. I am excited to know and can visit Philippines soon.
PLEASE POST IF YOU'RE HIRING 😅, IM A TOURISM GRADUATE; WENT ON TRAINING AS A FRONT DESK OFFICER, RESTAURANT RECEPTIONIST, AND WAS A TOURISM MARKETING & PROMOTIONS ASSOCIATE IN BOHOL TOURISM OFFICE. I HAD 5 YRS CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE, TOO, IN A BPO COMPANY 😅😂
i can feel a boutique resort is a very good business you can start which you yourselves can manage, represent better with your love of travelling and adventure. get it started. we're supporting you. i'm listening to you and there's excitement that i can fee as you discuss this project.
Wow! Congratulations! I got inspired by all of your vlogs. I also created mine but under health and wellness. Anyway, hope I can visit to your resort hotel. 🎉🎉🎉more success!
Wow that’s Very Nice to Hear,10 yrs from now when I retire I will probably staying there as my Home Done ,Hope by then You have that resort to visit in.☝️
@@livethephilippines my aunt just finished her building project in Panay… it has room for 9 separate businesses… took about 16months of construction, planning and finalization and she did half of it from here in California. I’m sure y’all will make great headway by November next year.
Can’t be even more excited and happier for your family. This is why I’ve been telling my wife and her Filipino family to do one also so let’s see maybe your inspiration will be ours too and thanks 🙏 for sharing your journey
Your hotel business idea is great, but I think as a foreigner you have to make it in partnership with at least 2 Filipinos to start a business with in the Philippines. Visit some beach resorts in Batangas, La Union, or in Batanes. I think you have to see the Luzon region. In Camiguin there are lots of waterfalls, too. You can also consult with the Guide to the Philippines executives about your business plan. Who knows you can be a partner of GTP. Good luck to you and more power to your channel.
Really looking forward to watching this journey play out! I think it's sort of an idea that some expats have tried in the Philippines, but not quite with your vision and resources. Maybe once it gets off the ground and generates some stats, we might see you on Shark Tank?? I love the social responsibility business model like Bombas. Best of luck!!!
