Thanks for not editing out the drops and the oops moments! It makes your content so honest and relatable! Just like me, nothing ever goes perfectly, we all have those moments, love seeing this project come together, appreciate you bringing us along! God bless my friend!
Thank you for that. I appreciate everyone being here. I've got more parts now including wheels! I'm working on it while in the process of moving to a different state. God bless you too.
Me too. Next is wheels & tires, clutch, flywheel, painting the trans, engine/trans installation. The AMC is going good, new video coming very soon. Currently in the process of selling my house, buying a new one & moving. Still working on the cars, just slower at the moment.
if the heads are the center bolt heads from the tbi block , that manifold wont work , if you have the center bolt heads your gonna need the edelbrock 2104 intake
Pull that intake shield and block off the exhaust crossover, oil splash will warm the manifold without the shield and without the direct exposure to hot exhaust gas, there will be no cooking the oil on the bottom of the manifold. Done it many times over the years on stock manifolds and it works great even in cold air temps. I have inspected it with a borescope after 10,000 mi and there was no oil coking or buildup. Newer oils ( over API SJ grade ) are much better at handling high oil temps, we're not using 1960 oils anymore. Not only that but fuels today, especially when formulated with alcohol vaporize more readily, one of the reasons in warmer climates it's not unusual to experience vapor lock. Do the valve covers and oil pan in flat black. Looks cool, hides oil stains and aids in oil cooling.
Good Job, Heavy azz intakes like the stock Cast can be an adventure installing them, especially in the car. The only problem painting things black is you can't see any small leaks as well. The rockers covers would look good just how they are IMHO. I hope the used water pump works out for you, every one I've used over after sitting eventually leaked. But that being said new parts now a days are a crap shoot, GOOD LUCK.
I'm not getting notified of your videos...RU-vid should do a better. Hope you straighten out all the dents in that shield before you reinstall...I really enjoy your videos. Thanks again
I'll bring it up at the next board meeting. I'm glad you enjoy the videos. I make them for you. You're welcome. I've got wheels & some other things now. More videos coming soon.
Hi Richard I was wondering what happened to you. You should make an official gmail for your site. We got over 3 inches of rain on the weekend, my poor peas!
I'm in the midst of the horrible process of selling, buying & moving. I have still been working on the Rambler though. An email is a great idea, I need to do that.
