Continuing our weekend out at Budds Creek, the Pro Motocross National went underway- witnessing Eli Tomac take back the points lead! The following day, Haiden raced another weekend of Pro-Am racing, earning just enough Pro-Points to be able to race in his first EVER Pro National on August 27th at Ironman!

As a moto dad, I can’t even imagine the pride Brian is feeling right now. My son is 7 and has finished 2nd in a couple 50cc races and has pulled a few holeshots and even THAT made me feel so proud of him, congrats guys!

What I gathered today... He's got speed and was running great just outside the top-10 before his mishap in moto 1. Moto 2 he showed he had a lot of heart. He could've just pulled off after that dinger off the start. But he got up and went to work,kept going and progressing from last to 24th. It's always better to learn sooner than later! He's going to get better & better each time he lines up! Progress and consistency will put you at the top in this sport ! Good luck ,Haiden!

Our little danger boy is grown up!! 😂 It’s just crazy, used to you would see kids at Loretta’s every year and know they’re good if they come back the next year. But we’ve never seen a kid go from 50cc to pro, and nearly every race in between. It’s wild and amazing at the same time. Thanks for sharing with us Deegan’s, we owe you. 🍺

Don't let that humbleness fake you out. I believe that was learned from his parents. They have done a great job raising them all and continue. But never doubt, all them kids have an underlying fire of competitiveness that they were just born with. If you want to be the man, you have to beat the man. Humbleness and awareness is learned. That competitive spirit has been engrained through genetics.

Congrats Deegan family! Brian trailblazed a path for his sons on how to market and brand yourself. Haiden to your credit has put 10,000 hour rule into effect to become a top prospect. What I appreciate the most out of watching these videos is that the Deegans do everything to pull all moto athletes up the mountain through support of the sport. The kid on the 2 stroke was pretty impressive. He qualified for the national the day before. On that same bike. So that 250 2 stroke went through qualifying and two motos the day before in the pro national and all those motos on Sunday. Someone should be helping that kid.

Haiden has progressed unlike any rider, he was on mini bikes less a year ago! it took Haiden less than 9 months on the 250 to become the fastest amateur rider!

They could put the rest of the gate on factory built 450’s and the result would have been the same.
