Many veterans at the time weren't as fortunate having decided to take their own lives rather than fight the head demons of gore and smell of war. (23/Marines commit suicide every day!) Alcohol was the only relief nearly 50 years ago before having my own family and grandchildren! I had honorably served my country as a United States Marine (Honorably Discharged) and cannot even possess a single bullet for life ... Victimless DUI laws allow the driver to retain the driver's license, the vehicle, and voting rights but not the 2-A Right of protecting family, life, and wealth! Improper laws invent eternal Felons out of victimless non-violent offenses to abrogate the 2-A in the guise of public safety! The victimless DUI debt of 2-A slavery can never be repaid in Michigan: Texas allows all convicted felons including DUI felons to possess firearms only within their homes to protect life and property 5-years after convictions. Same here. I don't personally believe we are going to get the landmark "assualt" weapons ruling we want and that is correct under the constitution. They aren't going to do it. They won't grant cert. Period. And back down it will go into a years long battle and Clarence Thomas will have retired or something by then

I don’t see why the SCOTUS can’t bring judges from inferior courts before them and charge them with contempt when they make rulings that violate the Constitution, remove them from the bench, and disbar them.
I pray that SCOTUS will step in and protect the rights of all Americans. However, due to the horrible laws here in IL, I am making the choice to leave the state I’ve called home for 37 years. Protect our rights now!

This is what happens when the SCOTUS has no balls. The lower courts have given them the one finger salute over and over and over again for the longest time since the Heller and McDonald decisions. Now, they basically skipped the high gear phase and went straight into overdrive after Bruen. They've had a plethora of opportunities to take on cases from the emergency appeals, but have repeatedly failed to do so and refused to step in to lay down the law... And due to its own inaction... DISREPECT IS WHAT THE SCOTUS RIGHTFULLY EARNED.👍 Lets hope the SCOTUS heard the wake-up call and will be cleaning up its reputation of dragging its feet on SUCH important rulings.
What about those poor prisoners of the Hawai’i political system where their State Supreme Court sites the collective “Spirit of Aloha” overrides the Constitution and that based on an episode of a 1990’s television show seems the Constitution too old to apply and no longer valid. ???????? 🙄😒🤣

However they have a very low rating by Charity Navigator on transparency and I'd like to know the percent of each donated dollar that goes to the cause versus "overhead" like marketing, salaries, etc. Have emailed Mr. Dudley and gotten no response. Am weighing whether to donate to them (as I have) or exclusively to GOA and SAF, of which I am also a member.

Some briefing or argument should remind SCOTUS that about a week after Bruen, SCOTUS reversed and remanded some 4 cases from other Circuits on rifle bans and magazine bans. Even if not precedential opinions, the Court should be respectfully reminded of those cases as well.
I agree with your strategy - the NYSERPA v Bruen decision allowed people in many "may issue" concealed carry states to "shall issue". For the first time in over 70 years people in Nazi Jersey could get a concealed carry permit. Sadly, we are still stuck with magazine capacity limits, one pistol per month, excessive fees and onerous permitting processes. It's time that the Supreme Court lay down the true law for our Second Amendment.
It's time we pass a law to try all government corruption cases outside of DC or the local where they hold power. By placing the venue in the locations most harmed by the corruption, we can start to see accountability.

The supreme court has to take this up because all the lower courts are playing games making these laws stay in place! They just keep delaying! We need a decision that will cover the entire country!!!!!
I purchased a scary black rifle right before gunmagedon in CA. I helped to try to defeat those mandates by volunteering my time to get as many signatures from people at a gun store and gun range to defeat the tyranny. It was very disappointing because gun owners didn’t take it seriously, so we lost. I haven’t been able to shoot the scary black rifle since gunmagedon😢
I doubt that certiorari will be granted before final judgment, however, I wish you all luck. I do also have to point out the hopelessness of this. Lower courts are ignoring SCOTUS rulings, so go to SCOTUS to get another ruling that WILL also be ignored.
Ask SCOTUS to rule on a case that's been decided twice and ratified as an amendment. Then ask them WHY they let inferior courts and legislators violate the 2A and it takes decades for them to respond to laws they can pass overnight. Ask them to inject themselves like a third branch of the federal government. The other two branches have ways to make inferior or subordinate agencies fall in line. What does the court do? No body has waited longer than CA for this case, yet every other circuit gets it processed much quicker.

The fact that AWB challenges have been around for 20+ years and the court has not made a decision on this is embarrassing to our entire legal system. Even more so when lower courts are clearly ignoring the spirit of the supreme courts recent rulings. This is a question that effects tens of millions of Americans, probably near 100 million or more if you think of the downstream impact of businesses failing/closing ammo sales declining ect ect.
Bans should never be allowed for any government entity smaller than a state. Local government is way too small to address major moral, ethical, and societal issues. Local government should only be allowed to expand rights and to nullify federal laws and state laws, regulations, and policies that infringe rights. No government entity should ever be allowed to infringe upon any right for any reason other than to balance the exercise of all rights equally between people.
These legal battles are extremely, extremely costly. Please consider make a financial donation to the National Organization for Gun Rights. If you can't donate money, donate time, volunteer, help in any way you can. They need all the help they can get. stop being a passive warrior for the Second Amendment and do help them.
If I didn't see Justice Amy Barrett's dissertation she did while on the 7th Circuit on Kanter v. Barr about two weeks after the 2020 election I probably wouldn't have pursued restoration. Although all my convictions are nonviolent and at least 20 years in the past, I have multiple convictions in three different jurisdictions, one of them federal. Hanna here referred me to The Firearms Firm in Florida in early 2021, however David over there told me unless 18 USC 922 (g)1 is struck down on its face as unconstitutional, I didn't stand a chance at any restoration. Pardons, especially federal pardons, are rarely ever granted.

Unfortunately, there was no solid end to their disregard to Heller. Barrett and Roberts have no intention of upholding Bruen or Heller in Van Der Stock, which will put Bruen and Heller on their ear because there is no way to show a historical pattern of banning the People from assembling guns from premanufactured parts, which is exactly how many guns were built in 1791.
