If I'm not mistaken, because he's too young, hes magic is not that strong and it's very likely that hes blood wouldn't have the strength to open a portal, at least not in such a small amount.

The ending was really sad… I was actually getting really scared when I heard that King was the Titan in the actual show. ‘Cause I thought that he was gonna have to lose some blood for Luz!
(Spoilers if your not caught up to date with “Thsnks to them”) My therory is that they will have to take kings blood or use him to get back home or make everyone safe as it’s magic is insanely powerful
Because blood is so integral to the body, you conversely have the ability to lose a bunch of it and still be fine. They could totally just draw a vial of his blood to create a portal and King would regenerate that blood within a day.
If they were to use King's blood, then wouldn't they need just a little? I mean the portal worked just fine with what they had back then (was it one or two fingers from the glove...?) so wouldn't it be ok with just, idk, like when you sting yourself with a pin or a little cut? His hands & feet are bone which sucks when it has so much of those... tiny small veins, the same about ears or face (forehead is also very blooded but that's one of the worse options), if it was flesh, stinging a finger or two with a pin could be easily enough to activate that if any detail oriented enthusiastic reads this please share your wisdom and/or correct me if needed
Just remember that in the eps that Amity and Luz started dating, Hooty extended himself ALL THE WAY to Blight Manor, broke in (probably through a window), ate Amity, then retracted back to The Owl House and threw her up in the basement, ALL WITHOUT BEING SEEN OR HEARD! Hooty is at least a couple thousand years old, I’d say he’s a demigod at this point (he’s that powerful and is *technically* birthed from a god)
