@@raduck5240you can plant them in your base if you want, you dont need the island, but some good resources are near and below it.

@@raduck5240there are a few good resources below and near the island but theyre mostly mid to late game, plus you can plant inside your base anywhere, you dont need the isalnd for that

@@raduck5240 Remember, Location Location Location. You want your home base to be in a nice central-ish area close to as many biomes as you can manage so you can collect many different resources to supply yourself. I'd recommend somewhere near the large Grassy Plateau area where Ozzy's lifepod is; you have Shallows and Kelp zone for Limestone, deep Kelp areas and the Plateau itself for Sandstone, and access to the Jellyshroom for Shale and Magnetite. Of course feel free to disregard and set up wherever you feel is best.

@@CarMADforever yea that’s actually what my first idea was BUT i kinda like the idea of building on land so that may be what i do😅

@@raduck5240 Tbf, never tried building a base on the land, don't see any reason why you couldn't though.... it might throw a hissy fit at you, be warned.

@@ambermitchell-uw7cp i kind of half listen and then in editing im like oh that was actually kind of interesting. I think the markers just pop up from the radio transmissions randomly whenever im doing something, it happened like 3 times during this episode alone

You get the waypoint for the Degassi habitat by picking up a specific PDA somewhere.
