Marco is so me right now. Sprains are painful and will make you think that you’re about to loose it. When faced with your mobility compromised you start to think so much of those who are this way permanently.

Wow Braylon just gets more humble by the day. Especially to be thankful for his medical bills being paid. Your first born will always have that special connection (as will your others) but he will feel more of a duty to protect you Brooke. Plus, he has probably gone through more hardships which he remembers since he is older. He adores you and always will. My eldest son Jack is exactly the same. Js, a sprain can hurt allot worse than a break, literally so much worse. I slipped down the steps and landed on the top of my foot bc it turned so far. Hunny I still have a bruise on my foot from it, the whole top of my foot was black for months and I still have a bruise 3 years later, it also still gives me problems.

I thought I had just sprained my ankle in 2017. I didn't go to the ER or doctor for 2 weeks. I inly went because I still couldn't put any weight on it and it was still extremely swollen and painful. Turns our I tore 2 ligaments. So 2 surgeries later I still have issues with putting my full weight on it at times. And when it rains...GOD HELP ME!!! It swells up and then the pain is excruciating!!! It's always smart to have medical intervention ASAP when you injure yourself. I don't blame you for going to get it looked at.

A sprain is still nothing to sneeze at. The pain can be disabling, and it can take a very long time to heal. Mine was swollen, discoloured, and took over 6 weeks before I could put my foot flat on the ground and walk normally again. It's always best to get checked though, the pain is truly that severe that you can't tell just by that. I must say I thought it was odd they told you to use the foot right away. I was recommended crutches and put on rest for 2 weeks, and I still had pain after that. I did recover fully though, so I'm sure you will be fine too. I pray you a speedy recovery.

Hope your ankle heals fast, Brooke🙏🌺🥰 The pain from a sprain is very very painful 😢😫🥵 You should ice it and keep the foot elevated when you sit and lie down. I sprained my ankle a few years ago and it’s never been the same since. It always gives me pain & is permanently crooked. You should consider physical therapy for it asap!

Sprains are,l almost worse. With a break they can cast and fix it. Sprained ankles take FOREVER to heal and feel better and with bad sprains they sometimes never get back to 100 percent. (Dealing with one myself and 5 months in and lots of PT it still hurts. 😢

My husband sprained his ankle. It was getting better until he got rear ended on the highway. He was stopped and she just plowed into him. She didn’t even try to stop. It was his left ankle. She ended up fracturing his tibia and tearing tendon’s, in his ankle. He just went back to work last week, after 3 months out. So glad you’re ok. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRAYLON ❤

I think it’s more so the fact that an er visit is going to take hours longer and cost 10x more than going into an urgent care that would see you relatively quickly and get you results same day.

Sometimes a sprang can be worse than a break. I've do e it before and I have broken my foot and walked on it for 6 months not knowing lol until the bone was basically just bits. Honestly the sprang hurt way worse then my broken bone.

A couple of years ago, my dads dog wiped me out (she's a German shepherd) my dad was on the phone and didn't know that it happened. Turns out I had broken a couple bones in my ankle and torn and popped my tendon out of place. I've now had a cast and boot, I do taekwondo and I've done different types of martial arts. Now I need surgery in 3 weeks and it will be a 4 month full recovery and no taekwondo for 2 months, its gonna be so hard! Im glad that you went early and that nothing bad happened. I didn't get it checked for like a year, so that was my mistake

lol that’s been me since i sprained snd got chronic pain and nerve damage at the age of 15.. now i sprained my ankle have tendinitis and meniscus tear in my othrr knee. im not supposed to do much.. but i still am. im thankful to walk even tho doctors say no bc it could get worse. youre strong ! dont give up momma . happy birthday b

I know how you feel that your sprained ankles hurt and trying to walk and put pressure on it and need help to get around and to do stuff I hope you take time rest and heal. I fell in my house July 5, 2023 and injury my left leg really bad I have braces on it and I have future appointment to see a orthopedic doctor it really hard I can't walk far places anymore it I can't do thing I normally will do anymore, My left leg is not the same. I tripped forward like that and it tore my lis franc tendon. It’s the main tendon that enables you to lift your foot. At first even they thought it was just a sprain until it stayed swollen and purple, I got a new scan and turns out, it was fractured and torn. Good luck. Ice and elevate

Hot/cold alternating therapies. Graduated weight tolerance 4days ibuprofen give 1 day rest for kidneys.

My sister broke her food once and walked on it for about a week. She’s still having issues with it till this day. I’m proud that you took the time to go to the hospital and make sure nothing was broken. If it was, you could have issues with it down the road and it may never heal properly. My mom also has the same issue but has rods in her ankle.

It’s OK I broke my ankle from doing that not the best experience I’m still at right now in a boot. I am healing very fast so even if you did break it, I think you would be fine and just use crutches as long and just make sure you listen to your doctors orders. I learned that the really hard way.
