About Us:
Hey! We are Lydia and Wehan, welcome to our channel 💙🚐
We're from Perth (Australia) and are currently doing the big lap of Australia in our self converted Sprinter van.
Feeling unfulfilled and unhappy after building the life we thought we should want, in 2021 we decided to to sell our house and quit our corporate jobs so that we could go on the big lap of Australia in our self converted Sprinter van. Having barely travelled previously (besides a one off trip to Bali) and being hardcore 'planners' we were worried we were making a huge mistake but we've been on the road for almost 2 years now and haven't looked back.
Our goal is to continue to push ourselves outside our comfort zone; seeking new adventures, learning about new cultures and seeing as much of the world as possible. We hope you enjoy watching!

One of the local rules for navigating on Sydney Harbour is that regardless of any of the normal rules, ferries, including those to Manly, have priority and other vessels must give way to them.

That makes sense, we did see a few other boats stopping as the ferries were approaching.. it explains why the ferries were so efficient too 😊

Have really loved watching your videos! Found your channel a few months ago. Tasmania was on my list and now I’ve booked a trip after seeing how spectacular it is through your footage and details. Thank you.

You're so kind thank you! 💙 So happy to hear you're going to Tassie, we're sure you'll love it. Are you going for long?

Not long enough sadly, just a few days, but then hoping for longer next year. We are basing this trip at cradle mountain and around that area. Any tips or things we can’t miss?

Cradle Mountain is amaaazing. Seeing the wombats (at Ronnys Creek) is a must and if you haven't seen a Tassie Devil or Quoll yet it's worth popping by Devils@Cradle. If you just do general entry they have free keeper tours that are worth jumping in on. All of the short walks around the lodges are great (and easy too). Definitely keep an eye on the webcams they have for the area (I think on the Parks Tas website) when you head down to Dove Lake as the mountain can be covered by cloud and not actually visible. When we were at Cradle they would update the cam every 5 minutes so we would just keep checking it to see when the mountain was visible. 🏔️😊 We hope you have an amazing time!!!

Absolutely stunning video again guys ❤❤ Even my legs were tired after watching from the comfort of my couch😂😂😂😂 I laughed at the cheese & Vegemite hot cross buns as my 1st thought of a cultural food of Australia is a cheese & Vegemite sandwich 😂😂 Have a great week & safe travels ❤❤

You guys look like you need more sleep and rest before heading out to Blue Mountains 😅 Glad you had a good time in Sydney and it wasn't too busy

😅 The stormy weather afterwards was actually perfect timing for giving our legs some time to rest before all the Blue Mountain hikes!

Best way to see sydney is by ferry

Absolutely, it gave such a great perspective of the city. We were surprised at how big the ferry network is and were super impressed with how easy they were to use 🚢

We lived for some time just a few minutes walk from Old Cremorne wharf. The ferry took 20 peaceful minutes to/from Circular Quay. Particularly on a summer evening the ferry is the best way to travel home. No matter how hard the day had been, all the difficulties had vanished by the time we got home in a way that the train did not.

Ahh I can imagine, they were so nice! Back when we were working full time I (Lydia) would take an hour train ride into the city and back everyday and I hated it... the ferries seemed like they would be so much nicer but I thought maybe overtime the love of it would wear off when you have to do it everyday 😅
