Introducing the Rally Rabbit! We bought this mild 2-door hatch with more than a few miles, and will be prepping it for a rallycross event held by our friends over at Out Motorsports in August. Competition rules state that we have a $1500 all-in budget to acquire and prep a car, so join us on this journey of blood, sweat, and tears as we try to bring out the racecar in this aging VW. I have 2008. I’m Original owner. It has 120,00 miles on it and it has never broken down and only been to a mechanic once. I’ve replaced the headlights, stick shift sleeve, headliner, and had to rejuce the a/c just this year. Other than regular maintenance, oil change, lube, tires, brakes. Its perfect. Btw. I hate the horn. It pisses people off. I also have a 79 Mercedes cream 240d. I love German cars.

So I just purchased my 08 Rabbit a few months ago, and as someone that loves rally (and also camping and stuff) I'm excited to see where this one goes! Planning on doing a similar thing to my bunny (maybe not rally championship level though)

Had the thought of a track or rally build for mine and this came up, so I’ll be looking forward to whatever progress you guys make (although the ending statement doesn’t sound very promising lol).
