Yaaaaas you listened to my advice! What an awesome truck. Can't wait to see the trailer y'all get. Don't forget to checkout the insurance and towing auctions, there's great stuff for sale Both of those sprinters were hard no's from me. First one was gonna need a new 15k transmission and the second one with the leaky radiator and rust was super sketch, bet that one would blow an engine in 20k miles. That 16k would buy an amazing sprinter direct from a government auction with no issues, Canada prices + rust issues is crazy

What a nice 4x4 haven't seen many in person in AUS don't think its super common because the brand is new and very expensive. I would definitely drive it 🙂

oh y'all! This is fantastic! I'm so stoked for all the adventures you'll have! And there are also tents that attach to the hatch so you can use both the camper part of the truck as like the bed area and the tent for 'living'. And she's so much more pretty than either of those vans. And newer. And less miles. Okay...all the benes are much better than a van or a bus you'd have to build out.

Good for you. You are going to get really used to driving a truck. Being higher and more visabiliy. You will never go back to a regular car. But watch the speed. You wil be over the limit in a hurry.

The cars are stacking up on the dealer lots they are still being greedy with their ridiculous fees. God bless you guys. So it looks like you are planning to permanently settle in Canada and just take occasional trips. The truck will definitely be good for Fix it Frank. It has a nice enclosed bed to keep his tools dry and safe.

@@FnAVanLife I won't disagree 😂 but will note we're all smart in different ways. Seeing that a truck was the ticket was easy for me since I've been doing the kind of stuff Frankie's starting on for longer than y'all have been alive. I've hauled 21' pipe sections in a Datsun B210, stacks of cement board in a Chrysler minivan, 4000' rolls of hi tensile fence wire on a motorcycle over the mountain... When there's a need, innovate. When I rebuilt my front porch last fall, hauling a bedfull of treated 2x10s, 2x6s, and a couple 16' 6x6s in my pickup was a piece of cake in comparison. I also hauled a pile of 20' composite decking boards, which wasn't heavy, but they're long and flexible (like Zappa's pup tentacle's feet) 😂 I ended up running those from the back of the 8' bed up over the cab and strapped em secure.

We are in Ontario too. This part of Canada feels a lot more like the states in the amount of people. I already miss the NW part of Canada .... I am looking forward to seeing the maritime area of Canada. I also just found out there is an island owned by France so I might go check that out too. Did you guys know that?? Nice truck. Too nice to work out of. You should have bought an old beater for work and kept looking for your ideal ride IMHO. I had a 1998 ranger that moved so much stuff and would still be running today if some jerk didn’t hit me and total it. She’s a beauty though.

Yeah, cause we have no credit in Canada at the moment. It is something we have to build up here. We have funds and credit in the USA since that is where Frankie is from and where Alex has lived and worked since her early 20s.
