I’ve lived in my home over 50 years. Every bump in the yard, I remember what dog is buried there. The marks on the walls as my kids grew. My wife passed away last year, and I feel it’s time for a change. It never gets easier and when the time comes to move. Memories will fill my dreams but I know it’s time for a change.
Has to be soo hard considering that’s where Jack came home from the hospital. Once you get into the new place, I’m sure it will feel the same after awhile, and when y’all are ready for a new home after this one, y’all won’t be ready to say goodbye to that place. Hope the move is easy and I hope y’all love it!
My late husband was military and we moved over a dozen times... My advice...label boxes well, take the boxes to the room they are marked.... AND try to relax...you kids are young & healthy.... You got this.... Cant wait to see how the move went...🌹
@@s.k.midrano9784 I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss. I couldn't even begin to imagine what you are going through. Prayers for you and your littles!
Yes! My oldest will be 10 next month and everytime I've ever moved since she was born has been tough. Same for all 3 of my kids really but looking at the empty rooms thinking of all the memories that were made was hard
I have 23 grandchildren one great grandson. Been taking care of children for 60 years and when I see how loving your family is to one another it makes my heart smile.
I totally understand everything you're saying, all the memories ect...remember one thing A HOUSE IS JUST A HOUSE, YOU GUYS MAKE IT A LOVING HOME NO MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE ♥ ! Can't wait for new videos......
Totally agree. It's YOU guys who make it a home. Ah! Remember too, that you'll be taking your furniture too, so your new place will have a bit of the old. The SOFA!!! lol
Greetings from Ireland. I found your posts a while back. Absolutely adore watching ye as a family and adapting to being parents. It's hard to say goodbye but you are just turning the page to a new chapter in your Beeston book. A house is a house. Your memories and experience is what is your home and the house is just the shell. Best of luck, enjoy the space and the dishwasher. Derik it still has to be loaded and unloaded!!!!!
You two are a great couple!! I have been married 25 yrs and right now while your having children are the best years of your life!!! The most changing until like me my kids are moving out. So enjoy each change moving out to next getting pregnant and it keeps changing so embrace everyone cause that is what makes life fun and exciting!!!
I think it of all the phases the kids moving out has been the hardest.. My girls are only 19 months apart so my oldest stayed home until my youngest turned 18 then they moved out and into a place together.. They are only ten minutes away but still to go from being mom everyday for twenty years to one day all the sudden they are gone I had to basically get to know myself again other than mom.. That was a year ago and the girls are still thriving by themselves and I got to know me!
The thing I’m most impressed with is their patience with each other. If someone threw away the car keys in my family, that’d definitely turn into a whole screaming match.
Dishwasher! Air conditioning! Your own room! So happy for you guys! 😁 Remember… when you move out your not leaving behind all the memories that happened in that house, those memories will live forever in your hearts ♥️ New and awesome memories with Jack are yet to come in the new house!
Just think about the amazing memories you will make in the next house and the next one! My husband and I have been together for 24 years (married 21) and we have lived in 9 different homes! We have finally settled (8 years ago) in a new home he built for our family. We have found our forever home in our favourite subdivision. I was sad after every move but our kids love to hear the stories and see the photos of all the homes we lived in along the way. Just keep making beautiful memories and you will have so much to look back on with Jack and your future family ❤️
As a person as old as young grandparents might be, I can give my experiences. I had the same feelings about leaving my dream home, my mountain home and coastal apartment. But, I promise you, if you bring love and memories with you, you will carry the memories and build new ones.
You thank us? ~~we thank you for bringing us into your family and sharing all the love you all have. I'm 70 y.o. and found you while fight lung cancer stage 3. Was not able to walk or even sit by myself, big hunks of memory gone, and according to my daughters didn't make sense when I talked. It was bad ut you all brought some joy into my life. Thank you.
I moved many many times in my 20s and never really felt much. The only home I was so sad to see let go was my family home. All of us had our own homes and mom needed to sell. I told my sister we she did tue final lock up to leave all of our names in a hidden area. Dont know why I wanted them left but if made me feel a forever attachment to our once family home. Jack will get used to his home quickly and so will you. I hope the move goes well and that you will have many days of happiness in your new home.
Yikes, we recently have been informed that after 22 years of living in our "Home" we need to move out.. Its so hard 😫 the memories, the laughter, the cries, bringing our second son home here, watching them grow us grow and the life changes that happens.. We are for sure nervous ... watching your strength gives me strength... Thank you. You have let us into your beautiful life and I for one feel like your friends that live far away, of course your not really, otherwise I would be a 😟 😨 But that is how you guys have built the loyal followers on here and that is so so precious 💖
Moving is so stressful!! And, homes leave such an imprint on our hearts. They are the enclosures of our lives, the backdrop of the every day. We can venture out, engage with others, be in nature, but our homes are the sites of our most intimate, personal experiences. And now, you take all of your memories and fit them into your new place and build around them, adding so much more. You will leave such happiness and joy within the walls of this first home; subsequent dwellers will feel the vibe and flourish as you have! Blessings and good wishes from Maine!! ( Twelve degrees here, by the 🥰😍🤩❄☃️⛄way!!)
Honestly, I FEEL the dishwasher thing. When I moved from NYC to my house in NC and got a dishwasher I didn’t know what to do with myself! We had the same thing. It was the apartment I going out I was pregnant with my daughter in on 9/11, the one we brought her home to, it’s hard. But, change can be good and you will have all sorts of new toddler memories to make in the new place! Can’t wait to see it!
I got my tabletop dish washer just before my birthday last September .Omg I love it so much .I was without one for 10 years 😢 it's my baby . I'm a 55 year old disabled woman with fours cats, I'm single so I'm aloud to call my dishwasher my baby 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 . Wishing you both a good move . Remember you're always at home wherever you are. as long as you're all together. You can always make new memories to add to the ones you already have . Love 🥰🥰🥰
It's going to be much better for Jack and if you're plans to have another one God willing come to fruition you really need a bigger place. You will make more beautiful memories and take the ones you have with you into the new home. The place you create those memories is just geography, the most important thing is the love that created them and that will certainly be going with you. God bless and pray the rest of the move goes smoothly. 🙏
I’m so proud for you guys, y’all deserve every upgrade you get and more, but I totally get the sad part, I still think of some of my childhood homes and feel nostalgic 💖💖
For every memory fill yourself with the excitement and anticipation of new ones! Aww.. the times Jack and Sarah would see Derrik coming home from the deck.. I have such amazing memories of my favorite apartment when my kiddo was little, those memories will always stay with you!🙂
Jack having something new for his new place may be helpful...like a new toy, etc. Doesn't have to be complex or anything, just "your new toy for your new place kind of thing." Also, remember to be gentle with yourselves and each other, as transitions can be a little glitchy, even when they're great overall. And, remember to pace yourselves, take breaks and schedule little fun things, even when you might not think you need them. These things have helped me during times of change.
So neat that you guys have all of those memories on video! You’ll look back one day and be soooooo glad you documented all of this stuff! I’m excited to see your guys new place!!!!! Can’t wait for the house tour! Love you Beeston fam so much!!!!
Moving out of the home your children were raised in is sad sad sad. But!!! You created memories there and memories are precious gems. You are fortunate that you have it all on video!! You will enjoy your new place, the dishwasher (oh I hear ya on that Sarah), the yard for Jack, the bedrooms, and AC! It may only be for 6 months but you will be creating new memories to cherish there too! Best wishes for a successful move. And sending you positive energy regarding your truck!! Love you Beestons!!! 🌹
OMG!! I have never heard anyone else describe having a baby and taking them home from the hospital the same way I do before now. I remember clearly thinking, “Now what do I do?!?” They say the second time round is easier, but that’s another story!!
I'd like to say you're at the end of your beginning as a family and at the beginning of a new chapter in your lives. Good luck to you all from your followers in the UK. Love and hugs 🤗
It's been a minute into the video and I'm already crying. So many memories in that place, but I'm excited for you guys to make so many more memories in a new place! ❤️
Its not the house that makes a home but the people in it. Yes there are memories there but the memories lie within all of you. Home is where ever your family is, your new place will create many more memories. You're closing one chapter of your book and starting another in your life.
You two have got this!! Look what you have already been able to handle and accomplish. Give yourselves some grace and know you can do this. It won’t be easy but that’s okay. You can do the hard things!!!
I felt the same (many years ago) when we moved from our condo - the palace we came home to after we got married, had some sad losses, and ultimately brought our first 2 kids home - to our house)home. I was excited for more room, a yard and YES! a dishwasher! Derek as hard as this move is for you, just think of the amazing memories that you'll make in your new home. Be it 6 months or longer, you'll be making memories and experiencing wonderful things. If you do have to move in 6 months, come back to Utah! I've grown so fond of your family. Best of luck in your new home and congratulations for all you've accomplished with your RU-vid and TikTok channels. 🤗❤️❤️❤️🥰
Awe, I just wanted to reach threw my phone to give you guys a hug! It's going to be ok I promise. You will carry these precious memories in your heart forever. Yes when you drive by it will remind you of the memories you guys created. It will get easier and it's a new milestone for all of you. A new chapter! Jack is so darn cute! I loved it when he was showing us his eyes and mouth. Sending you all Lots of Love from Cali 💗
PRAYERS and POSITIVE VIBES for you and your move. oh isn't that saying so true sometimes, " when it rains, it pours"! just a little detour... I'm sure all will go very well... Moving is stressful, but take a deep breath, let it out, say Hallelujah, we can do this!! Time for new memories in your new home!! You all got this!!!🙏💕❤️💐🥰 Thanks for sharing your beautiful family! Jack is so beautiful, fun and sweet! Babies are the best! God's greatest gifts to us! 🙏 Looking forward to seeing your new home!🌷🌼🌻🏵️
Moving is stressful, but you have each other and are moving together, life has changes, things work out your going into a new phase of life and a new beginning . Keys are not a strong point with me. Good luck on your move, things will be ok
It's just part of growing. You're just starting your lives. I am in my last home. I am 63 and very settled. When you're my age, you're going to realize life goes in the blink of an eye! You turn around, and Jack will be a dad. ENJOY every single second!!!!!
I think everyone has felt the same way. Just look forward to the new journey in your life. You keep saying memories, and that's what they are, and no one can take them away from you. Can't wait to see your new house and watch your little family make more memories.
Y'all are killing me with all of Jack's firsts in that home 😭😭😭😭 ugh it's ok, the moments will replay in your memories and across your videos forever and now you'll have a bit more space and a new adventure together 💗 it's a good change and you deserve it ☺️
Awwwwww it was so cute to look at all your memories. The best way to think about it is just to remember that change is a part of life and with that change we are moving forward to where God wants us to be. You guys are so adorable and I look forward to seeing your new place and the memories you'll make there.
We moved out of our apartment and into a house when our son was 5. I was an absolute wreck. I know how you guys are feeling and it’s so sad, but exciting at the same time.
I know it's emotional, but I'm so excited for you guys😁!!! Your new place is going to be way more convenient, more space, your own mini back yard, and you get to have your own room??? I mean this is great!! Think of all the positive things that are about to happen for you guys! You're going to create even more memories in your new place, and then eventually you'll be moving out once again years down the line to buy your own home!!! Change is good!! Especially when it's for the better. And besides, you have the best of Jack's memories on camera!! Do you know how many people never got to capture all those beautiful moments with their kids? I can't wait to see your new adventures, and I pray that so many more awesome things happen for all of you!! God bless you all!! Keep shining!! The best is yet to come!! ♥️🥲👌🏽🤗
Take a video of every room before you leave, and pics of fave spots...massively helped me when we moved from the house we lived with our youngest daughter, who passed away at almost 2 years old. On one Hand exciting to move, on the other hand leaving the place that she lived in for her short time here, so that's what I did and it was a great comfort. I can still look at those pictures and video if I want to, and remember everything, not that I really forget anything but that's what I did, you guys already have video you I can look back countless times and see step-by-step what you've done. I have to say once we did move we made new Memories in the new house and it was good, it was a good move and I'm sure it won't be 5 minutes, before you're happy in your new home xxx
I have moved homes a lot since I was a child, and every time, I still feel very emotional and sentimental about leaving a place. What has helped me get through these moves was the thought that my home really is wherever I am with my loved ones. :) There will be new wonderful memories wherever you’ll live next.
Awee..every young couple starting off goes through financial hardships. It’s completely normal. Humble beginnings are a way to grow and appreciate life and family. I can’t wait to see your family grow. I love watching little Jack he’s so stinking cute.🥂 To next chapter of your lives.
Time to start packing!!! Where's your boxes??? What you do today directly affects how your life will be tomorrow. Look....I recently moved TWICE in the past 3 years and NOT by choice, but due to REDEVELOPMENT!! It was the hardest ever after having lived in the same place for 26 years. You need to START RIGHT NOW unless you have a bunch of time. I didn't have that luxury. The best of luck to you three!
Love Sarah's yawns. The videos are not the same without at least one yawn lol. I hope your move to the new place goes great and that you're able to stay there longer or find a permanent place soon. I love watching you guys. You brighten up my day with all those smiles. You two are a match made in Heaven. You truly are blessed to have each other.
Change is scary but it's also a good thing... good luck with your new path and happy new home warming congratulations... New memories are also good lol
Y’all are the cutest loving family. Y’all just make me smile. I will be 61 next Monday. I remember those feelings too, but life has a way of working out. Y’all want another baby. That apartment is to small. Y’all have your whole life ahead of you. Many changes some good some not, but as long as your together that is your home. Not where you live. Love y’all, good luck with the move. Kiss Jack for me. Hugs and blessings to you both.
Sad.... But soooo sweeeet!!!! Yay!! Congratulations!! Bigger home, more family!!! Yayyyy!!!! I'm so happy for you all. God has a plan for everyone😇I love Jack so much. He brings joy into my life. love all you 3!!! Thank you for sharing. Always love, MamaE💗
You will always have the memories you made in this house because you have all the vlogs right there. Like you said at the end you are moving on up! You will make wonderful memories in the next place too. ❤️
When putting all your stuff in bags label them. Like stickers with kitchen wrote on,then ornaments. Lounge stuff, Bedding linen towels summer clothes jack's clothes, bathroom stuff. It worked for me if each bag or box is labeled you are not rummaging looking for stuff. And I then put the bathroom bags or boxes in the bathroom, then lounge stuff in lounge, kitchen stuff in kitchen, clothes bags in the bedrooms, that way the bags, boxes are all in correct rooms ready to put away no running from room to room always works for me💓 good luck 💗💗💗💗💗💗
This is so similar to when we bought our first house. We were renting a tiny place with no storage and it took us 3 years to find a place to buy. By that point our first was 18 months. My pregnancy, bringing her home, her first steps. So many memories. And it was right on a lake! My husband especially had a really hard time leaving but I was so ready. If it helps, we love our new place and no regrets moving. You make new memories and still have the old ones and videos to look back on.
Bless you I'm so excited for you all ...... Love you guys so. I'm totally feeling your sadness of letting go of your first home together as a family. It's amazing how much you all are growing so beautifully super big hugs love you all,..... I'm literally crying for you. As a mother and grandmother im so pleased with all my heart soul how beautiful your little family. Many healthy safe loving blessings from above. Forever in my heart soul never to depart, big hugs 🤗💞👼🙏
AweeSuch a sweet video. I'm sorry Derrick your sad but snap out of it. The new place is goingto be fabulous. I hope you can stay longer than 6 months once you get there! Then maybe a house of your own!! Good luck y'all 😘😘😘
Prioritize regulating your nervous system! I’m in midst a move too and I get itttt, take care of your sleep, diet, body, mind. Regulate regulate regulate!
If you still have the manual that came with your truck, it might have the number provided with your truck keys that you can use to order duplicates. Contact a Ford dealership or the company to have new keys sent to you if a dealer is not close by. Usually, the keys have a little metal tag with a number that can be used to get duplicate keys. Locksmiths are probably not the best to call for auto keys as the keys have security features that make them difficult to duplicate.
Best moving advice…get your moving boxes from an ABC store. They are sturdy, clean, small, stackable and FREE!!! Also, don’t wait til the day of the move to pack! Way too stressful!
I have a very emotional 17 month old as well. It’s such a blessing but can be hard too. One thing I remind myself is that the day he chooses to accept Jesus he will be so ALL IN and EXTREMELY in love. I pray the same for Jack too :) Such a sweet thought that gets me through the very emotional tantrums.
Congratulations on the move! Change is hard in everything just roll with it. You 3 will be just fine family is what makes a home, not the other way around 🙏💕
Remember...it is yall that made that place a home. You carry all the memories with you to the new place. Change is always hard . Even though getting a new place is exciting, it's stressful moving. Go with the thought of making new memories as you grow your family in the new place.
You guys are so incredibly amazing and it's been wonderful watching baby jack grow so fast with y'all. Your truly blessed and I'm so incredibly happy to watch you as a family just continuing to grow and prosper. Many prayers and blessing for your endeavors. Much love from my family to yours. Idk if you will ever see this but just know we all care about you three so much! Best of luck!!!
Aww, my very favorite youtube family ❤🙏🏼 I know what you mean about the dishwasher! I was without a washer and dryer and also recovering from a spinal fusion. I will never take it for granted! While doing laundry, I always have to give it a smooch..no jk😂 The reason y'all have the best subscribers is that you 3 are so sweet and real! God bless you! You'll do great in your new place...plus you have all of your memories on video! Xo
So enjoy your channel!! Change is hard, I hate change. However, once you find that bigger place you will be wondering "how did we live in such a small place?". Once you're in you will grow to love it even more💕 Once we found that place, we were so happy‼️ So happy we have been living in our house for almost 37 years‼️ Still loving it!!!! Except for the fact I still have never had a dishwasher. Well then again as hubby always said "We have a dishwasher and would pickup my hands and say it's right here"! I still am the dishwasher ☹️ 😢Unfortunately, hubby has passed on. But I have so many memories here no matter what!!!! So I definitely don't want to change to another home. You guys are awesome, enjoy your new home.....It will be great, because no matter what you guys make the home, the home doesn't make you‼️ Best of luck🍀 Thank You For Sharing Your Beautiful family ❣️❣️❣️❣️
You guys are the sweetest couple. Everything will be fine. 🤪I live in Ontario Canada and had to move 2.5 hour drive away from my kids and friends. Long story short I just couldn’t afford the rent on my own anymore. I miss my home like crazy, so I know it’s hard moving from one place to another. 😭😭 But life will bring you knew memories and experiences in this new place and when or if you move you will have those there as well. I know it’s hard but truly life does go on. And just think Jack might make some new friends. Lol Well good luck with your move guys. Can’t wait to see the new place. ❤️❤️
So happy for you guys’ new adventure! Wishing you blessings of continued love and lots of space for growth and playing and laughing💙 BTW I’m about to move into a place with a dishwasher too! Yay!
Hey guys, with 5 kids and 3 grandkids, married almost 35 years… seen some seriously stressful situations in my life. But I choose not to let it get me undone. Walking in faith is a choice… to believe that Romans 8:28 is truth… that “all things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose” is choosing to walk in peace and freedom. Especially when something like keys getting pitched happens I just have to recognize that God knows better than I do and He might’ve been saving us from a car accident or whatever we could not foresee. You have to read the Word in order to have it come out of you in stressful times ♥️
Having 1 car key is stressful! I am so scared of losing mine. Sorry that happened to you. Oh Jack is precious as a newborn! I should go back into your new Jack days! What fun blonde hair! Any advice you ask? Cherish the sentimental value of your memories. Start packing! 📦📦📦 and look forward to new memories! Where will Jack do his homework growing into school age, decorating his room. Where your new chimney is for Santa tales. So many fun milestones to look forward to! Best of luck on the big move!! You are gonna love the future memories! ...a dishwasher? Ahhhh! More time to play with Jack❣️
JUST THINK HOW LUCKY YOU GUYS ARE THAT EVERY SINGLE THING IS RECORDED. WHEN I HAD MY KIDS IT WAS JUST PICTURES. IMAGINE WALKING AWAY FROM THOSE MEMORIES. BLESS YOU GUYS AND ALL YOUR WONDERFUL FRIENDS🙏😎
It’s so sad to watch you two saying how sad you are to move. 🥲 But, I’m sure you are going to love your new place like you are saying more room, dishwasher 👏🏻👏🏻 a yard for all, backyard Barbecues, hard Blue pool for Jack. It’s gonna work. Love you all. ❤️
