WE'VE GOT NEWS!
In 2021, Magnolia will be opening the doors to a boutique hotel in downtown Waco, Texas! Our team will begin renovations this fall on a historic building just a few blocks from Magnolia Market at the Silos. We’ll be partnering with Ben Weprin and his team at Adventurous Journeys, also known as AJ Capital, to bring the nearly one-hundred-year-old building to life. (They’re the group behind some of the most iconic and creative hotels in the country, including Soho House Chicago and the Graduate Hotels, to name a few). Chip and Jo wanted to be the first to greet you at our new project site-so take a look by watching the video! We can’t wait to host you in Waco soon. They have single-handedly boosted Waco's population, notoriety, and real estate value. Waco should name a street after them and a government building (like a school).

I think they should completely change it from Waco, Texas to Gaines, Texas . I truly feel that they completely built Waco from the old sad stigma it had a rebuilt it for their entire community

Got to love him.. I don't think he knows how to stay on script... Chip is as goofy, his true personality..he hated the fake part, its why they left. They loved being themselves. Their show is a great balance of an actor and a grown man loving what he does.. I'm happy for them!!!

I love all Chip and Jo do and have accomplished...but it will still always be the place of that terrible tragedy--and the leader that most believe got away and didn't die with "his people." small towns have many relatives, too. Who know what (or who) is still there?

Another wonderful place to go in Waco! We often travel to Austin from NYS to visit two of our three children who have settled down there to raise families. My daughters and I came up to Waco a few years ago - the Silos had only been open about six months, the garden shop was almost ready, and the bakery had just started to be renovated. It's quite a magical place. My husband and I are planning a road trip to Texas in the spring and Waco will be on our way down. We will definitely be stopping a Magnolia Table for breakfast and then visiting the Silos. The hotel will be another amazing accomplishment - God bless your family and your work.

Y'all have taken a town which was known for a horrible tragedy and elevated it with love, compassion and joy. I used to feel sad when I heard the name Waco because of what happened there so many years ago. But now when I hear the name Waco I think of you two and it brings a smile go my heart. God has blessed Waco because of you two.

This sounds so wonderful!! I am so gratified you are restoring the existing structure and not tearing it down to build some bland brick box. So excited to see the results!! One thing prior generations did better than us and it was to build character and depth in public buildings. This is definitely a project I can get behind!! Way to go Gaines and Waco!

My cookbook club and I were just down in Waco last week for the first time after finishing your cookbook and our tour guide took us by this place and other adventures in the works. We also stayed at the “ Bachelor pad fixer-upper” what an awesome home. We had a wonderful time every place we went. God is using y’alls talents to bless the town of Waco. This couple is changing their community. That's what we all need to do. God bless them for getting businesses to open and hiring.people. We need to do this nationally, we volunteer for 3 places and we do commit to charities that help our local communities but it is sad at this time because of the viruse.
