Time to get things in order! A lot of loose ends from our previous lives need to be tied up so The Grand Lady Renovation can continue. Thank you for hanging in there with us while we work through it! See our "regular life" in Alaska, while we wrangle some Alaskan chores, look out for bears and hear about Jim's life changing walkabout story. ALSO...the toilet started leaking while we were there, which was lucky(?), but also turned into a massive DIY pain in the pooper.

It’s beautiful to see a kind of day in the life before you guys moved to New York! Too bad about the toilet situation. It’s a beautiful place and that van at the end reminds of my the old 1976 Ford Econoline Dad and I would call “Great White.” I miss it so much. Was just too expensive to restore. I’m glad Jim could keep his. Cherished memories and a classic car. Ours didn’t have a cool mountain painting on it, though. Or cop pull-over stories like that! Lolz.

I’m with Jim, I’d rather not do anything in the rain.☔️ But………here I am in Brittany, France where it’s just as rainy as Seattle. Secretly I must love the rain, no, it just feels like home. ❤️❤️❤️Lindsey and Jim! Enjoyed the trip to Alaska. My 18 year old grandson took his first flight and trip to Alaska last year…and fell in love with the area. Not sure we’ll ever be able to keep him here in NC. Honestly loved this vlog…thank you for sharing the “other part” of your lives, and will continue to keep you both in thoughts and prayers for your health, and steps forward in the renovation of the Grand Lady.
