Bruce had more teams promoted to the Premier league then anyone. Also was so close to winning the fa Cup with hull city. 10 times better manager then Southgate

Maybe, but he did it with limited resources and talent, (both in terms of squad personnel and his own limited skills). Souyhgate has the pick of the cream of English talent. Yet still struggles to get a tune out of his teams.

There was a point during the game (actually several) where all the England players were stood motionless, looking at each other. Nobody running to make triangles ... nothing. It usually resulted in a pass to Pickford who launched it to the Slovakian midfield. Pathetic lack of effort. Just RUN FFS!!!! Give the guy on the ball some options.

Surely it's not that hard. Get a left back with a left foot on. Drop Foden and put Gordon on the wing. Foden can come on late for Bellingham if required. DON'T play Bellingham and Foden together. When will England managers ever learn?

Literally nearly every team in the tournament are just better organised than us. I don't know why England always come into these tournaments and the players just look lost in terms of where they're meant to be on the pitch. So the football ends up just looking sloppy and we've had to rely on a clutch moment yesterday to get us out of jail. We play like we have been against the swiss then they're just gonna take us apart.

Southgates England is set up ExACTLY the same as Bruces time at NUFC at are just as awful. Newcastle were the worst team in the country when Bruce left. We had no left back and Bruce had the revelation to play two false 10's. NUFC sat deep, were ponderous on the ball and had one tactic - get the ball to Saint Maximin- so he should be praising Southgate 😂

I really really don't understand what the obession with full back position is. The reason we have been so unbalanced on the left is we have a player in foden, who drifts into no.10 does no tracking back and when he receives the ball in the left wing position, without fail turns back and passes it backwards and can't take players on on the wing. Of course Trippier exacerbates this issue. but the main issue is Foden i.e left wing... not full back!. We need Foden to be benched and used as supersub for the rest of the tournament. For me as a starter he doesn't give England anything.

If we have players who are supposed to be world class , and apparently one of the favourites for this event, why oh why on this occasion and many before are we incapable of passing the ball and retaining the ball unless it’s in our half , even then we give it away time after time. Sorry to burst your bubble Brucey, but Palmer was awful yesterday. Gave the ball away cheaply at least half a dozen times and didn't offer anything in the way of meaningful crosses into the box. Start a 4-3-3 with Trent, Gordon, Eze and Toney and take off Kane, Rice, Mainioo and Trippier. That combo will be just lethal.
